Moral remaja dalam kumpulan cerpen Kematian Donny Osmond karya Seno Gumira Aji Darma :: Tinjauan Lima Kode Roland Barthes

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah moral remaja. Moral remaja yang dijadikan objek formal dalam penelitian ini penting diteliti karena perilaku mereka sudah menunjukkan gejala kemerosotan moral. Gejala kemerosotan moral remaja tersebut diindikasikan dengan merebaknya kasus penyalahgunaan narkoba, pergaulan bebas, kriminalitas, kekerasan, dan aneka perilaku kurang terpuji lainnya Fenomena tawuran remaja dan kehamilan di luar nikah yang semakin meningkat juga dijadikan tolok ukur kemerosotan moral mereka. Adapun objek material dari penelitian ini adalah kumpulan cerpen Kematian Donny Osmond karya Seno Gumira Ajidarma. Kematian Donny Osmond dipilih karena cukup merepresentasi moral remaja di masyarakat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah melengkapi khazanah ilmu sastra dengan alternatif pendekatan lima kode Roland Barthes. Di samping itu, secara praktis juga bertujuan mendeskripsikan moral remaja dari berbagai aspeknya. Dari hal tersebut, dapat diperoleh manfaat yang berguna bagi mahasiswa, siswa, penikmat sastra, serta masyarakat luas yang berminat terhadap karya sastra. Teori dan metode yang digunakan adalah semiotika Roland Barthes dikhususkan pada lima kode yang digunakan dalam S/Z. Adapun tekniknya, dilakukan pembacaan terhadap teks, kemudian memotong –motong teks tersebut ke dalam leksia dan mengidentifikasikan kode-kode sebagai sandarannya yaitu kode aksi, kode hermeneutik, kode semik, kode simbolik, dan kode kultural. Setelah dihasilkan leksia, dilakukan identifikasi dan penafsiran terhadap leksia- leksia tersebut secara sistematis dan berurutan kemudian dilakukan penyusunan daftar semua kode, lalu kode-kode tersebut diuraikan Setelah diuraikan, dapat diperoleh makna berupa pesan moral remaja secara utuh dan jelas. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan berupa pesan moral jangan melakukan pergaulan bebas. Caranya, yang pertama dengan mengontrol hawa nafsu, yang kedua jika pergi ke pantai, jangan jadikan tempat tersebut untuk melakukan hubungan terlarang, tetapi gunakan untuk mensyukuri nikmat Tuhan. Cara yang ketiga, hendaknya remaja berpikir secara rasional, kemudian jangan menyalahgunakan kepercayaan orangtua, jangan mudah tergoda dengan orang yang baru dikenal meskipun ia mempunyai banyak kelebihan. Pesan moral selanjutnya adalah jangan mau terjajah dengan merk, jangan melakukan tawuran atau perkelahian, sebab dampak dari perkelahian pelajar bisa berupa kematian. Pesan moral yang lain berupa anjuran untuk seleksi dalam menonton film.

The case in this research is the adolescent moral. The adolescent moral as a formal object is important to be examined because their behaviour showed the moral decline phenomenon. This moral decline phenomenon is indicated by spreading the drugs abuse case, free sex, criminal, violence and another unworthy behaviour. The increase of the adolescent fight and the fregnancy without marriage (marriage by accident) also becomes the measuring rod of their moral decline. The material object of this research is Kematian Donny Osmond short story collection by Seno Gumira Ajidarma. Kematian Donny Osmond is chosen because it is enough represtative for adolescent moral in the society. The purpose of this research is to complete the literature treasury by using an alternative approach of the five Roland Barthes’ codes. In addition, this research also has purpose to describe the adolescent moral from various aspects. From this research, we can get the benefit which is useful for university students, students, literature readers, and another society who is interested in this literature. The theory and method are used in this research is Roland Barthes semiotics which is specified on the five codes is S/Z. The technique is done by reading the text and then cutting that text into lexicon and identifying the codes as its basis such as action code, hermeotic code, semic code, symbolic code and cultural code. After getting lexicon, the writer identified and interpreted that lexicon systematically and chronologically, then the writer arranged the list of all codes, next, those codes are analyzed. After analyzing the codes, it can be got the meaning in the form of intact and clear adolescent moral message. The result of this research can be included in the form of moral message which suggests to avoid the free sex. The step are: first, by controlling the temper, second, if we go to the beach, do not make that place to do free sex, but it is used to thank the God’s mercy. The third step, the adolescent should think rationally, and don’t abuse the parent’s trust, don’t be tempted easily by a new corner although she/he has many axcesses. The next moral message is don’t want to be colonized by trade mark, and don’t fight, because the impact of the students fight can cause the death.
