Upaya penyelenggaraan patient safety di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Sumbawa

Latar Belakang : Keselamatan pasien (patient safety) merupakan salah satu dimensi mutu. Rumah sakit Sumbawa merupakan Rumah Sakit Pemerintah Daerah yang sudah terakreditasi penuh pada 5 bidang pelayanan. Skor parameter patient safety dalam penilaian akreditasi pada semua parameter patient safety cukup rendah pada interval 2-3 (skor maksimal 5). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui upaya penyelenggaraan patient safety di RSUD Sumbawa. Metode Penelitian : Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan rancangan studi kasus. Variabel penelitian ini adalah kompetensi sumber daya manusia baik tenaga fungsional dan struktural rumah sakit. Pengambilan data dengan wawancara, observasi lapangan dan telaah dokumen. Hasil : Terdapat ketidaktepatan penempatan pejabat struktural bidang teknis dengan latar belakang bidang keilmuannya, status honorer dokter sebagai hambatan kontinuitas program, kurang konsistennya sumber daya manusia (SDM) terhadap pelaksanaan program keselamatan pasien rumah sakit (KPRS) dan motivasi kerja sumber daya manusia rumah sakit yang relatif rendah. Kesimpulan : Upaya penyelenggaraan patient safety di Rumah Sakit Sumbawa masih belum optimal, kendala yang ditemui adalah belum adanya konsistensi terhadap pelaksanaan program-program KPRS ( DPJP, KIE dan RKP) dan motivasi kerja sumber daya manusia yang relatif rendah.

Background: patient safety (patient safety) is one of the dimensions of quality. RSUD Sumbawa Hospital is a Local Government that is fully accredited in the field of 5. Human Resources (HR) as one of the hospital patient safety factors, but sufficient score on all patient safety parameter that is quite low in the interval 2-3 (maximum score 5). This study aims to understand the support for the Human Resources programme in the hospital patient safety in hospitals Sumbawa. Research Method: This type of design and research is a qualitative descriptive approach observatory and interviews. The research is Human Ressources Competence in patient safety programme. The data on 7 interviews with respondents, observation and field research documents. Result and Discussion: The obstacles support the human resources competencies in the Hospital program in employment status of doctors and officials did not comply with the educational background. Implementation of the programme KPRS The Doctor Service (DPJP) and Patient Safety Round (RKP) hampered the work motivation is relatively low and inconsistencies. Conclusion: The low score of patient safety because of the consistency and motivation of human resources for the implementation of the program is relatively low.
