Persepsi ibu tentang menyusui hubungannya dengan perilaku pemberian ASI di Kecamatan Pahandut Kota Palangka Raya

Latar belakang : Prevalensi ASI eksklusif sangat rendah, belum sesuai dengan harapan dan penyebabnya kompleks. Ada beberapa pandangan ibu yang menyatakan bahwa hanya ASI saja diberikan pada bayi umur 0-6 bulan adalah kurang, akibatnya ibu menyusui tidak eksklusif. ASI merupakan makanan bayi yang paling baik dan tepat untuk pertumbuhan dan perkembangan bayi yang sehat dalam rangka peningkatan sumber daya manusia. ASI merupakan sumber gizi, mengandung zat protektif yang melindungi bayi dari infeksi bakteri, virus dan jamur sampai umur 6 bulan. Hasil studi ASI eksklusif terakhir di kecamatan Pahandut Kota Palangka Raya Puskesmas Pahandut menunjukkan dari 689 target cakupan yang dicapai 20 target (2,9%), Puskesmas Panarung menunjukkan dari 1119 target cakupan yang dicapai 95 target (8,2%). Tujuan Penelitian : Mengetahui persepsi ibu tentang menyusui hubungannya dengan perilaku pemberian ASI. Metode Penelitian : Ibu yang memiliki bayi umur 6-12 bulan untuk menyusui, memenuhi kriteria Inklusi, responden dilihat dari data 2 tahun terakhir yang menunjukkan bahwa ASI eksklusif yang rendah. Rancangan penelitian cross-sectional, metode kuantitatif Analisis univariat, bivariat, menggunakan chi square dengan taraf signifikansi 5%. Hasil: Persepsi Ibu tentang menyusui terhadap kerentanan hubungannya dengan Perilaku pemberian ASI eksklusif (X² =25,887; p<0,05; OR=8,435), Keparahan (X² =20,755; p<0,05; OR=7,030), keuntungan (X² =0,444; p<0,05; OR=0,518), hambatan (X² =80,794; p<0,05; OR=70,571). Kesimpulan: Terdapat hubungan yang bermakna yaitu persepsi ibu tentang kerentanan,keparahan dan hambatan terhadap perilaku menyusui secara eksklusif. Tidak ada hubungan yang bermakna antara persepsi ibu tentang keuntungan terhadap perilaku menyusui eksklusif.

Background: Exclusive breastfeeding prevalence is very low, not in line with expectations and the causes complex. There are some views that the mother only breastfed are given to the baby's age is less than 0-6 months, a result not exclusive maternal breastfeeding. Breast milk is the baby food is good and right for the growth and development of a healthy baby in order to increase human resources. This is not only because breastmilk is the perfect source of nutrition for infants, but also because of Protective breastmilk contains substances that protect babies from many different bacterial infections, viruses and fungi to infant age 6 months. Last results of study exclusive breastfeeding in the district Pahandut Palangka Raya , said 689 indicates that the target coverage of 20 achieved the target (2.9%), Panarung health center show from the 1119 target was to achieve coverage of 95 targets (8.2%). Objectives: Aimed to know the perception of mothers breastfeeding relationship with the importance of breastfeeding. Methods: Mothers who have babies aged 6-12 months and breastfeeding, Inklusi meet the criteria, the respondents viewed the area from the last 2 years of data showing that exclusive breastfeeding is low. Design crosssectional research, the data processed using the methods of quantitative analysis univariat, bivariat, using chi square with 5% significant extent. Results: Maternal Perceptions of breastfeeding against vulnerabilities related to the provision of exclusive breastfeeding (X ² = 25,887, p <0.05, OR=8435), illness (X ² = 20,755, p <0.05, OR = 7030), benefits (X ² = 1.0615, p <0 , 05, OR = 0518), obstacles (X ² = 80,794, p <0.05, OR = 70571). Conclusion: There is a relationship which means that the perception of vulnerability, perception of the illness perception of the obstacles on maternal behavior in exclusive breastfeeding. There is no meaningful relationship between the perceptions of mothers about the benefits of exclusively breastfeeding behavior.
