Perancangan sistem peringatan dini banjir mandiri

Kami melakukan perancangan piranti yang dapat melakukan pengukuran ketinggian air dan melaporkannya secara periodik kepada petugas pemantau. Perangkat dibangun dari rangkaian mikrokontroler dengan menggunakan sensor potensiometer dan pelampung, sehingga ketinggian air dapat dideteksi melalui port ADC dari mikrokontroler. Hasil keluaran diumpankan ke handphone dan data dikirimkan melalui SMS. SMS akan langsung diterima oleh hand phone petugas. Ketika level air pada lokasi pemantauan melewati batas maka secara otomatis akan dikirimkan SMS peringatan sehingga petugas dapat mengantisipasi situasi di sekitar lokasi yang rawan banjir untuk membuka tutup pintu air atau memerintahkan evakuasi penduduk. Hasil pengujian alat menunjukkan bahwa perangkat telah dapat mengidentifikasi dan melakukan pengukuran ketinggian air secara otomatis. Alat telah layak digunakan sebagai prototype sistem deteksi banjir mandiri.

We have completed apparatus design which will be able to do water height measurement and reports the result periodically to an officer. The apparatus is constructed from network microcontroller by using potentiometer and floater, so that water height can be detected through the ADC port of the microcontroller. Result of output is baited to hand phone and data is delivered through the SMS. SMS will be directly accepted by the hand phone of an officer, when water level at location of monitoring is higher than boundary value, warning wil be delivered automatically by SMS, so that officer can anticipate the situation around location to open the gate or command to evacuate the resident. Results of appliance examination indicate that the peripheral can identify and do the water height measurement automatically. Appliance can be used as prototype selfsupporting system to detect floods.
