Analisis pengaruh ukuran tim dan teknologi informasi terhadap produktivitas tim kerja pada lini quality control

Memasuki era globalisasi, persaingan dunia industri menjadi semakin ketat dan perusahaan dituntut mampu memenuhi kebutuhan konsumen yang semakin kompleks. Para pengusaha berlomba-lomba melakukan usaha untuk meningkatkan produktivitas perusahaan mereka, terutama produktivitas tim kerja. Hal tersebut dikarenakan produktivitas tim kerja merupakan indikator yang paling peka bagi proses ekonomisasi perusahaan dan sekaligus merupakan tolak ukur utama bagi kemajuan ekonomis yang dicapai oleh perusahaan tersebut. Produktivitas tim kerja dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, antara lain: ukuran tim dan teknologi informasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah membentuk suatu persamaan model matematika yang dapat digunakan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kedua faktor tersebut terhadap produktivitas tim kerja pada lini Quality Control. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi linier dan dibantu program SPSS 15.0. Objek penelitian ini adalah empat perusahaan rokok kretek sejenis yang tergolong industri rokok menengah ke bawah. Penelitian diawali dengan pengamatan langsung terhadap empat perusahaan yang diteliti, lalu dilanjutkan dengan uji normalitas terhadap data perusahaan yang telah diperoleh. Selanjutnya dilakukan pemilihan model regresi terbaik terhadap beberapa model regresi. Setelah menemukan persamaan regresi yang tepat, penelitian dilanjutkan dengan menganalisa model tersebut terhadap masing-masing perusahaan yang diteliti dan memberikan alternatif terbaik bagi masing-masing perusahaan tersebut guna peningkatan produktivitas di lini Quality Control. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh sebuah persamaan model regresi kuadratik yang dapat menganalisis pengaruh ukuran tim dan teknologi informasi terhadap produktivitas tim kerja pada lini Quality Control. Berdasarkan hasil analisis model yang dilakukan terhadap keempat perusahaan, diperoleh hasil bahwa penambahan ukuran tim memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap produktivitas tim kerja pada lini Quality Control, yakni dengan meningkatkan produktivitas sebesar 0,08% sampai 3,94% dari capaian produktivitas semula. Sedangkan untuk peningkatan teknologi informasi, hal tersebut memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap produktivitas tim kerja pada lini Quality Control, yakni dengan meningkatkan produktivitas sebesar 19,03% sampai 48,81% dari capaian produktivitas semula. Alternatif terbaik guna peningkatan produktivitas tim kerja pada lini Quality Control bagi keempat perusahaan adalah dengan melakukan penambahan ukuran tim dan peningkatan teknologi informasi secara bersamaan.

Entering the globalization era, industry competition is becoming more severe and companies are required to fulfill the needs of consumers which are more complex. Businessmen are competing to increase their companies’ productivity, especially the productivity of working teams. It is because the productivity of working teams is the most sensitive indicator for the process of company economization as well as the main parameter for the economic advancement achieved by the company. The working team productivity is influenced by some factors, some of them: team size and information technology. The aim of this research is to build a mathematic model equation which can be used to analyze the influence of those two factors on working team productivity in the Quality Control line. This research uses nonlinear regression analysis and is facilitated by SPSS 15.0 Program. The objects of this research are four cigarette companies of the same type which fall into middle-low cigarette industry. The research was initiated by direct observation of the four companies being investigated, and then followed by normality tests of the companies’ data obtained. After selecting the best regression model and the equation is proven valid, the research was continued by analyzing the model on each company being investigated and the best alternative for each company was proposed to increase the productivity in the line of Quality Control. From this research a quadratic regression model equation was created to analyze the impact of team size and information technology on the working team productivity in the line of Quality Control. Based on the results of model analysis done to the four companies, it was found that the optimization of team size is at the value of n=9. This size had positive impact on the working team productivity 0.08% to 3.94% of the previous productivity. Whereas for the maximization of information technology, the value of i=3 gave positive impact on the working team productivity in the line of Quality Control, by increasing productivity 19.03% to 48.81% of the previous productivity. The best alternative to increase working team productivity in the line of Quality Control for each of the four companies was conducted by both expanding team size and improving information technology as well.
