Pengembangan e-learning di Poltekkes Depkes Mataram yang berbasis teknologi informasi (TI)

2009 | Tesis | S2 Ilmu Kesehatan MasyarakatLatar belakang : Seiring dengan perkembangan TI dan dengan telah diterimanya sistem e-learning oleh masyarakat, maka tuntutan akan suatu konsep pembelajaran yang berbasis TI menjadi tak terelakkan lagi, tak terkecuali di Poltekkes Mataram. Terlebih lagi didukung dengan telah tersedianya hardware maupun software serta sarana pendukung lainnya seperti adanya konektivitas jaringan. Konsep e-learning ini diharapkan dapat membawa pengaruh terjadinya proses transformasi pendidikan konvensional ke dalam bentuk digital baik secara isi (content) maupun sistemnya sehingga menciptakan iklim pembelajaran yang berbasis teknologi informasi. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui kepuasan pengguna dalam pengembangan sistem e-learning di Poltekkes Depkes Mataram. Metode Penelitian: Rancangan dalam penelitian ini adalah action research yang bersifat kualitatif. Subyek dalam penelitian ini ditentukan secara purposive sampling dengan jumlah 66 yang terdiri dari unsur pimpinan, dosen dan mahasiswa. Penelitian dilakukan di kampus A dan B Poltekkes Depkes Mataram. Instrumen pengambilan data mempergunakan form check list , form pedoman wawancara mendalam, kuesioner dan catatan di lapangan. Hasil dan Pembahasan : Dari 20 responden, sebanyak 15 orang (75%) belum pernah mendapatkan pelatihan komputer dan 20 orang (100%) belum pernah pelatihan internet. Dukungan manajemen masih kurang karena SI belum masuk dalam Renstra Poltekkes dan belum terbentuk tim pengelola. Dari aspek teknologi cukup mendukung denga adanya hardware dan software yang memadai dan akses internet selama 24 jam. Telah dikembangkan sistem e-learning online dengan alamat URL http://poltekkes-mataram.net84.net yang digunakan oleh dosen dan mahasiswa. Tingkat kepuasan berupa kemudahan sistem bagi dosen menunjukkan rerata hasil 3,4 yang berarti puas. Demikian juga bagi mahasiswa menunjukkan rerata hasil 3,18 yang berarti puas. Hasil evaluasi isi situs bagi mahasiswa juga menunjukkan rerata hasil 3,06 yang berarti puas. Saran Bagi poltekkes agar segera membentuk tim pengelola SI dan menyusun Protap dan Juknis pengelolaan sistem. Bagi peneliti lain agar menggunakan CMS lain dan hosting yang berbayar agar terhindar dari berbagai kendala konektivitas dan kecepatan akses.
Background: Along with the development of IT and the system has been received by e-learning community, then the claim of a concept of learning-based IT is unavoidable anymore , no exception Poltekkes in Mataram. There have been supported with the availability of hardware and software and other supporting facilities such as the network connectivity. The concept of e-learning is expected to bring the influence of a process of transformation from the conventional education into the form of a digital one both the content and so the system, which then creates a climate of learning-based information technology. Research goal is to know the user satisfaction in the development of e-learning system in the Ministry of Health (MoH) Poltekkes Mataram. Research Method: The design in this research is action research that is qualitative. Subjects in this study purposively sampling is determined by the number of 66 elements consisting of leaders, lecturers and students. Research conducted in the campus of A and B MoH Poltekkes Mataram. Instrument data take the form of check list, the form of indepth interviews,questionnaires and notes in the field Results and Discussion: From the 20 respondents, as many as 15 people (75%) had never received training on computer and 20 people (100%) have not received training on internet. Manager support is still less because SI has not been included in Renstra Poltekkes and the team manager has not been formed yet. Aspects of the technology with enough support the hardware and software is adequate and internet access for 24 hours. Has developed e-learning system online with a URL address http://poltekkes-mataram.net.84.net used by lecturers and students. Level of satisfaction as the system for ease of lecturers average results show that 3.4 means satisfied. Similarly for students average results showed 3.18, which means satisfied. The evaluation of the content of the site for students also indicates average of 3.06, which means satisfied. Suggestion : For poltekkes should immediately form a team manager and IS Protap up technical guidelines and management systems. For other researchers to use the CMS and hosting of paying to avoid various obstacles and speed of access connectivity.
