Hubungan antara persepsi dokter gigi dan perawat gigi tentang standar kompetensi perawat gigi dengan pelaksanaannya di RSU-RSUD Tipe A-B Propinsi Sumatera Barat

Pada tanggal 27 Maret 2007 dengan surat keputusan nomor 378/Menkes/SK/III/2007, Menteri Kesehatan RI telah menetapkan standar profesi perawat gigi. Standar profesi ini terdiri atas standar kompetensi dan etika profesi. Standar Kompetensi merupakan kemampuan minimal yang dimiliki oleh perawat gigi sekaligus batasan aktivitas perawat gigi dalam melakukan pelayanan asuhan kesehatan gigi. Pelaksanaan standar kompetensi perawat gigi tidak dapat dipisahkan dari pemahaman dan dukungan tenaga kesehatan lainnya, terutama dokter gigi. Disamping itu perawat gigi juga harus memiliki kesadaran dan pemahaman yang utuh tentang standar kompetensi ini. Hipotesis yang diajukan adalah : (1) Adanya hubungan antara persepsi dokter gigi tentang standar kompetensi perawat gigi dengan pelaksanaannya di RSU-RSUD Tipe A/B Propinsi Sumatera Barat, (2) Adanya hubungan antara persepsi perawat gigi tentang standar kompetensi perawat gigi dengan pelaksanaannya di RSU-RSUD Tipe A/B Prpinsi Sumatera Barat. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah dokter gigi dan perawat gigi yang bekerja di poliklinik gigi RSU-RSUD Tipe A/B Propinsi Sumatera Barat, mengingat jumlah populasi yang tidak banyak maka seluruh populasi dijadikan sampel (total sampling). Menggunakan metode obsevasional dengan alat ukur berupa kuesioner. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan hubungan yang bermakna antara persepsi dokter gigi tentang standar kompetensi perawat gigi dengan pelaksanaannya di RSU-RSUD Tipe A/B Propinsi Sumatera Barat dengan nilai signifikansi 0,02. Terdapat 1 orang (4%) dokter gigi yang memiliki persepsi baik tentang standar kompetensi perawat gigi, 12 orang (48%) memiliki persepsi sedang dan 12 orang (48%) memiliki persepsi rendah. Dan tidak terdapat hubungan antara persepsi perawat gigi tentang standar kompetensi perawat gigi dengan pelaksanaanya di RSU-RSUD Tipe A/B Propinsi Sumatera Barat, dengan nilai signifikansi 0,170. Terdapat 16 orang (84,1%) perawat gigi yang memiliki persepsi baik tentang standar kompetensi perawat gigi, dan 3 orang (15,9%) memiliki persepsi sedang. Untuk pelaksanaan standar kompetensi perawat gigi terdapat 1 poliklinik gigi (33,3%) yang berada pada kategori sedang dan 2 poliklinik gigi lainnya (66,7%) berada pada kategori buruk.

In 27 March 2007, letter of decision minister of health number 378/Menkes/SK/III/2007, the minister of health approve standard competence of dental nurse. The standard competence consist standard competency and ethic profession. Standard competency means minimal ability that must belong to dental nurse, and limitation to dental nurse services to patient. The implementations of dental nurse’s standard competency can not separated with a understanding and support from another health care, ultimately dentist. Dental nurse also must have holistic awareness and understand about standard competence. Hypotheses this research are: (1) there is relationship between dentist perception about dental nurse standard competency with implementation at type A/B hospital Sumatera Barat province, (2) there is relationship between dental nurse perception to standard competency with implementation in type A/B hospital Sumatera Barat province. Population of this research is dentist and dental nurse who works in dental nurse service in type A/B hospital Sumatera Barat province, a number of dental population are not much, so researcher take all sample (total sampling). This research used observational method with questionnaire as instrument. Result of research show there were a significant relationship between dentist perception to standard competency with its implementation at type A/B hospital Sumatera Barat province, p value 0.02. There 1 respondent (4%) dentist have good perception to standard competency, 12 (48%) have medium perception to standard competency, and 12 (48%) have low perception to standard competency. Second, there were no relationships between dental nurse perception to standard competency with its implementation at type A/B hospital Sumatera Barat province, with p value 0.170. Amount 16 (84.1%) dental nurse have good perception to standard competency, 3 (15,9%) have medium perception to standard competency. The implementation standard competency dental nurse 1 (33,3%) dental polyclinic categorized as medium and 2 (66,7%) another dental polyclinic categorized as low.
