Beberapa aplikasi pendekatan humanistik dalam proses pembelajaran

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan implementasi pendekatan humanistik dalam proses pembelajaran; (2) Mengidentifikasi penghambat dan pendukung implementasi pendekatan humanistik dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis Penelitian Tindakan (Action Research). Penelitian tindakan dilakukan sebanyak 5 siklus, tiap siklus terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Subyek penelitian adalah guru yang mengajar mata pelajaran Akuntansi pada kelas XII SMA Katolik “Warta Bakti” Kefamenanu, Nusa Tenggara Timur tahun pelajaran 2008/2009. Secara keseluruhan, hasil dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa SMA Katolik “Warta Bakti” Kefamenanu cenderung belum dapat mengimplementasikan pendekatan humanistik dalam pembelajaran dengan baik dan optimal. Namun, hasil akhir yang diperoleh selama pelaksanaan tindakan dapat disimpulkan bahwa beberapa aplikasi pendekatan humanistik dalam proses pembelajaran memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan keaktifan peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran, terbukti dengan hasil penelitian ini yang menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan pada peserta didik dalam hal bertanya, mengemukakan pendapat dan mempertahankan pendapatnya, serta interaksi antara peserta didik dengan peserta didik dan antara peserta didik dengan guru juga meningkat.

This research aims (1) to describe the performance of the implementation of humanistic approach in learning process; (2) to identify the obstacles and the endorsing factors occur in the performance of the implementation of humanistic approach in learning p rocess. This research uses three qualitative approaches with Action Research type. Action Research is conducted in five cycles; each cycle consists of 4 phase which are planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of the research are the teachers who teach accountancy lesson in the XII grade of “Warta Bakti” Katolik high school of academic year 2008/2009, Kefamenanu in East Nusa Tenggara. As a whole result of from this research is that “Warta Bakti” Katolik high school, tend to not yet earned implementation approach of humanistic in study better and optimal. But, the final result obtained during the performance of the action can be concluded as following : some applications a study using humanistic approach has positive influences to increase the students’ activity in the learning process, which is proved by the research results show that there is an increase of the students’ ability in giving questions, speaking out their opinion and ideas and defending them, as well as the increasing both in students-to-students interaction and students-to-teachers interaction.
