This research aims at finding out the relation of effectiveness among some dosages of the active substances of Pyrethroids on wall paint toward Periplaneta americana cokroach. The hipothesis submitted are: that there are different effect caused by different dosage of active substances towards Periplaneta americana, and that there are also different result of active substances reaction respond towards the effect of 50 lethal concentration (LC 50%) and 95%, also the knock down time 50 and 95 (KT 50% and KT 95%). The subject of this research is 1280 cokroach, aged 9-18 months which is the result of colonization from the laboratory of BBPPVRP Salatiga as the research location. Data collected by "SIRIM" glass cylinder methode which midified by three compartment based on the recommended standard dosage of each insecticides products. Statistic methods used is statistic test of probate analysis. The research finding shows that there is meaningful effectiveness relation of the insecticide of active substances of wall paint. The result of statistic test of probate analysis showing the differences for: lethal concentration 50 (LC 50%), most effective at Zetamethrine at the dosage of 0,065%, and for LC 95%, most effective at Deltamethrine at the dosage of 0,484% until P>0,05. There are also different lethal knock down time P>0,05 for knock down time 95% (KT 95%), most effective at Deltamethrine at the dosage of 0,5% within 180,13 minutes. Efikasi beberapa bahan aktif insektisida kelompok pyrethroid dalam cat tembok terhadap lipas Periplaneta americana

Lipas Periplaneta americana berperan sebagai vektor penyakit, inang perantara mikroorganisme patogen dan pengganggu, terbukti dapat membawa dan menularkan penyakit yang disebabkan oleh: virus, bakteri, protozoa, cacing dan jamur. Keberadaan lipas perlu diwaspadai pengendaiiannya, dan cara kimia masih altematif yang efektif dilakukan untuk membunuhnya, sehingga bahan aktif insektisida perlu diuji keaktifannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas hubungan beberapa dosis dan bahan aktif insektisida dari kelompok Pyrethroid, dalam cat tembok terhadap lipas Periplaneta americana. Hipotesis yang diajukan adalah: ada perbedaan pengaruh dosis dari beberapa bahan aktif terhadap P. Americana, dan perbedaan hasil respon reaksi bahan aktif terhadap efek lethal concentration 50 (LC 50%) dan LC 95%, serta knock down time 50 da 95 (KT 50% dan KT 95%) Subyek penelitian adalah 1280 lipas berumur 9- 18 bulan hasil kolonisasi laboratorium BBPPVRP Salatiga sebagai tempat penelitian. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan modifikasi glass cylinder dari "SIRIM" dengan tiga replikat dan lima ulangan yang berpatokan pada dosis standar rekomendasi dari masing-masing produk insektisida yaitu Permethrin 100 EC, Lamdacyhalothrin lOWP, Deltamelhrin 100 EC dan Zetamethrin 25 EC. Metode statistik yang digunakan adalah uji statistik analisa probit. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan efektifitas yang bermakna antar dosis bahan aktif insektisida yang diujikan efikasi beberapa bahan aktif dalam cat tembok. Hasil uji statistik analisis probit menunjukkan perbedaan: untuk lethal concentration 50 (LC 50%), yang paling efektif pada Zetamethrin pada dosis 0,065% dan untuk LC 95% yang paling efektif Deltamethrin pada dosis 0,484% sehingga P>0,05%.
