Rehabilitasi tanaman kopi di Aceh Tengah di tujukan pada populasi tananam yang telah berkurang kerena kesalahan kultur teknis, serangan hama dan penyakit serta kekeringan yang akan mengakibatkan produktifitas tanaman perhektar rendah atau tidak menguntungkan untuk diusahakan. Penerapan teknologi GIS (Geographic Information System) merupakan langkah yang tepat dalam membantu proses perencanaan distribusi bibit serta perencanaan pengembangan lahan perkebunan melalui cara memfasilitasi akses informasi pada setiap lokasi lahan petani pada sebuah lembaran peta yang dinamis. Salah satu cara yang dilakukan adalah dengan pemanfaatan data satelit atau raster map yang diproses untuk merancang sebuah peta jenis vektor (vector map), hasil dari perancangan menghasilkan peta yang mempunyai atribut tabel informasi yang dapat di sajikan melalui aplikasi berbasis online. Dengan demikian diharapkan setiap perubahan yang terjadi dalam pelaksanaan rencana dan kegiatan akan terpantau dan terkontrol secara bersama pada suatu sistem kontrol pemetaan lahan perkebunan.
