Valuasi ekonomi wana wisata Baturaden dengan travel cost method di Kota Purwokerto

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengestimasi nilai rekreasi dari Wana Wisata Baturaden. Teknik penilaian ekonomi yang dapat digunakan untuk mengestimasi nilai rekreasi berupa metode travel cost. Metode travel cost adalah sebuah metode berdasarkan survei yang menggunakan travel cost ke suatu lokasi tujuan untuk mengestimasi fungsi permintaan akan lokasi tersebut. Dengan menerapkan fungsi permintaan dalam model regresi hubungan antara jumlah kunjungan dan variabel yang mempengaruhi jumlah kunjungan dapat diperoleh. Hal ini membuat metode travel cost memungkinkan untuk mengestimasi surplus konsumen yang nilainya digunakan untuk mewakili nilai rekreasi Wana Wisata Baturaden. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan sampel sejumlah 93 pengunjung. Hasil kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa surplus konsumen untuk Wana Wisata Baturaden yang diestimasi sebesar Rp357.000,-. Nilai tersebut terlihat tinggi dan satu hal yang mungkin dijelaskan atas kondisi ini, nilai tersebut disebabkan oleh beberapa permasalahan terkait metode travel cost. Hal yang juga penting untuk dicatat bahwa nilai estimasi hanya mewakili satu bagian dari nilai total ekonomi, nilai yang lain dari nilai ekonomi tersebut tidak terkuantifikasi dalam penelitian ini.

The purpose of this study was to estimate the recreational value of Wana Wisata Baturaden in Purwokerto. To be able to give an estimate of the recreational value an economic valuation technique called the travel cost method was applied. The travel cost method is a survey based method that uses the cost of travelling to a site to estimate the demand function for the site. By applying the demand function in a regression model relationship between the number of visits and the variables that effect the number of visits made could be found. This also made it possible to estimate the consumer surplus which is the value used to represent the recreational value of the Wana Wisata Baturaden. The data used in the study is based on sample of 93 visitors of the Wana Wisata Baturaden. The result of this study was that the consumer surplus for Wana Wisata Baturaden was estimated to 357.000 rupiahs. This value seems high and one possible explanation for this is that it has been caused by some of the problems with the travel cost method.
