Kajian durabilitas campuran hot rolled sheet-base (HRS-Base) yang menggunakan aggregat lokal dan pasir Pantai Halmahera

Semakin mahalnya biaya pembangunan jalan serta makin berkurangnya agregat alam, maka untuk efisiensi dan ekonomis penggunaan campuran agregat halus digunakan pasir pantai sebagai bahan campuran perkerasan. Salah satu bahan alternatif yang cukup banyak tersedia yaitu pasir pantai yang terdapat di Halmahera, Propinsi Maluku Utara. Pembuatan benda uji dengan variasi kadar aspal 5%, 5,5%, 6%, 6,5% dan 7% dengan variasi gradasi agregat halus 75/25, variasi 50/50, dan variasi 25/75. Dari KAO menjadi dasar pembuatan benda uji untuk melihat potensi workabilitas dan durabilitas, dengan cara di rendam selama ½ jam dan 24 jam. Perendaman menggunakan air murni, air laut, air selokan mataram, dan air kali code, kemudian dilanjutkan pemeriksaan stabilitas benda uji dengan menggunakan alat Marshall. Potensi durabilitas dinilai berdasarkan indeks kekuatan sisa (IKS) dan waktu rendam. Hasil penelitian labolatorium bahwa, perendaman air laut, air murni, air selokan mataram dan air kali code selama ½ dan 24 jam variasi 75/25, variasi 50/50 dan variasi 25/75 dengan nilai KAO sebesar 6%, 6,25% dan 6,50% dari berat total agregat. Perendaman air laut porsi campuran 75/25 dengan nilai stabilitas 1083,81 dan 997,05, Flow 3,87 dan 3,97, MQ 280,89 dan 250,55. Untuk porsi campuran 50/50 dengan nilai stabilitas 1082,41 dan 958,46, Flow 3,57 dan 3,80, MQ 303,16 dan 258,08. Porsi campuran 25/75 dengan nilai stabilitas 1188,49 dan 997,71, Flow 3,57 dan 3,07, MQ 333,37 dan 325,68. Perendaman air murni porsi campuran 75/25 dengan nilai stabilitas 1221,76 dan 1089,14, Flow 3,37 dan 3,57, MQ 363,06 dan 305,39. Untuk porsi campuran 50/50 dengan nilai stabilitas 1261,05 dan 1186,88, Flow 3,43 dan 3,80, MQ 367,89 dan 271,08. Porsi campuran 25/75 dengan nilai stabilitas 1195,57 dan 1186,88, Flow 3,73 dan 3,83, MQ 320,27 dan 309,55. Perendaman air selokan Mataram porsi campuran 75/25 dengan nilai stabilitas 1372,30 dan 1095,50, Flow 3,50 dan 3,70, MQ 392,46 dan 296,11. Untuk porsi campuran 50/50 dengan nilai stabilitas 1411,65 dan 1023,55, Flow 3,57 dan 3,90, MQ 396,74 dan 263,06. Porsi campuran 25/75 dengan nilai stabilitas 1254,48 dan 1180,13, Flow 4,23 dan 4,03, MQ 297,18 dan 293,12. Perendaman air kali code 75/25 dengan nilai stabilitas 1254,48 dan 1180,13, Flow 4,23 dan 4,03, MQ 297,18 dan 293,12. Untuk porsi campuran 50/50 dengan nilai stabilitas 1399,69 dan 1049,86, Flow 4,30 dan 3,80, MQ 327,98 dan 276,07. Sedangkan porsi campuran 25/75 dengan nilai stabilitas 1175,57 dan 1036,78, Flow 3,60 dan 3,67, MQ 327,98 dan 276,07.

Increasing cost of road development and decreasing natural aggregates result in use of beach sand as mix material hardening for efficient and economical application of fine aggregate mixes. One sufficiently available alternative material is beach sand in Halmahera, Province of North Maluku. Object test was made by asphalt content percentages of 5%, 5.5%, 6%, 6.5% and 7% with fine aggregate gradation ratios of 75/25, 50/50, and 25/75. Transformation from KAO to basic test object was made to see workability and durability potencies by soaking for ½ hour and 24 hours. The soaking used pure water, sea water, Mataram Canal water, and Code River water, then continued by examining the test object stability using Marshal unit. The durability potency was evaluated by residual strength index (IKS) and soaking time. The results of laboratory research indicated that soaking in sea, purer, Mataram Canal and Code River waters for ½ hour and 24 hours varied from ratios of 75/25, 50/50 and 25/75 with KAO percentages of 6%, 6.25% and 6.50% of total aggregate weights. Soaking in sea water with 75/25 mix ratio produced values of stability = 108.81 and 997.05, Flow = 3.87 and 3.97, MQ = 280.89 and 250.55. 50/50 mix ratio produced values of stability = 1082.41 and 958.46, Flow = 3.57 and 3.80, MQ = 303.16 and 258.08. Whereas, 25/75 mix ratio produced values of stability = 1188.49 and 997.71, Flow = 3.57 and 3.07, MQ = 333.37 and 325.68. Pure water soaking in 75/25 mix ratio produced values of stability = 1221.76 and 1089.14, Flow = 3.37 and 3.57, MQ = 363.06 and 305.39. 50/50 mix ratio produced values of stability = 1261.05 and 1186.88, Flow = 3.43 and 3.80, MQ = 367.89 and 271.08. Whereas, 25/75 mix ratio produced values of stability = 1195.57 and 1186.88, Flow = 3.73 and 3.83, MQ = 320.27 and 309.55. Mataram Canal water soaking with 75/25 mix ratio produced values of stability = 1372.30 and 1095.50, Flow = 3.50 and 3.70, MQ = 392.393.46 and 296.11. 50/50 mix ratio produced values of stability = 1411.65 and 1023.55, Flow = 3.57 and 3.90, MQ = 396.74 and 263.06.
