Pengaruh pelatihan kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap iklim keselamatan kerja di rumah sakit

Iklim keselamatan kerja tidak hanya sebatas peraturan dan standar yang ditetapkan oleh organisasi. Faktor yang juga berpengaruh adalah bagaimana manajemen, dalam hal ini pimpinan menyampaikan aturan dan standar kesehatan dan keselamatan kerja serta bagaimana memotivasi bawahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh pelatihan kepemimpinan transformasional dalam peningkatan iklim keselamatan kerja di lingkungan rumah sakit. Komparasi dilakukan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Pada kelompok eksperimen (16 subjek dan 59 responden) diberi pelatihan kepemimpinan transformasional. Sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan, subjek dan responden diberi Skala Iklim Keselamatan Kerja dan MLQ sebagai cek manipulasi. Sedangkan pada kelompok kontrol (19 subjek dan 70 responden) diberi Skala Iklim Keselamatan Kerja dan MLQ tanpa diberi pelatihan. Hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan analisis varian 1-jalur dan 1-faktor (anava A-Mx-B). Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah terjadi peningkatan yang signifikan terhadap iklim keselamatan kerja melalui pelatihan kepemimpinan transformasional dengan F = 266,334, p < 0,01.

The safety climate is not only the matter of a regulation and standard regulated by an organization. The influencing factor on the latter is how the management or the leader or the organization delivers the regulation and the standard of the work health and safety and how they motivate their staffs. This research aims to find the influence of the transformational leadership training in enhancing the safety climate in hospital. The comparison was conducted between groups of experiment and control. The experiment group, which consisted of 16 subjects and 59 respondents, was given the transformational leadership training. The subjects and respondents were given the scale of safety climate and MLQ as a manipulation check before and after the training, while the control group, which consisted of 19 subjects and 70 respondents, was given a scale of work safety environment and MLQ without training. The result of this research was analyzed through a variant analysis 1-line and 1-factor (anava A-Mx-B). The research found that there was a significant increase to the safety climate through a transformational leadership training with F = 266,334, p < 0,01.
