Perkosaan :: Dampak pada kesehatan, upaya pencarian pertolongan dan halangan pemanfaatan layanan kesehatan

Latar Belakang. Perkosaan dilihat sebagai isu hak asasi manusia sekaligus sebagai isu kesehatan masyarakat terutama kesehatan perempuan. Mengingat konsekuensi jangka panjang dan pendek pada kondisi fisik dan psikologis korban. Kompleksitas permasalahan perkosaan juga menyentuh masalah pelayanan kesehatan bagi korban yang membutuhkan pelayanan khusus. Tujuan Penelitian: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui dampak perkosaan pada kesehatan. Melihat upaya pencarian pertolongan oleh korban perkosaan dan halangan korban dalam memanfaatkan layanan kesehatan. Serta hambatan dari stsi penyedia layanan kesehatan. Metode Penelitian; penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan rancangan studi kasus bersifat eksploratif. Pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam dan data diambil secara purposive sampling. Penelitian ini diiakukan pada 3 korban perkosaan dan penyedia layanan kesehatan yakni 5 rumah sakit dan 1 lembaga swadaya masyarakat (LSM) Rifka Annisa Hasil: Dampak perkosaan pada korban sangat kompleks. Menyangkut masalah kesehatan fisik dan mental serta masalah sosial ekonomi. Pola pencarian pertolongan pertama yang diiakukan adalah informal baru kepada layanan formal yakni penyedia layanan kesehatan. Hambatan bagi korban antaralain terdirl dari kompetensi petugas, birokrasi, biaya, ketersediaan layanan dan problem psikologis korban. Hambatan penyedia layanan kesehatan adalah aspek adalah biaya terutama untuk operastonal unit khusus, kompetensi staf, dan kurangnya sensitifitas petugas. Hambatan bisa dijembatani dengan kerjasama antar penyedia layanan kesehatan. Kesimpulan: Kompleksitas dampak yang dialami korban membutuhkan intervensi dalam mengatasi halangan kepada akses pelayanan kesehatan. Penyedia layanan kesehatan hendaknya menyediakan layanan khusus bagi korban perkosaan dengan kebijakan yang dapat mengatasi halangan penyediaan layanan kesehatan termasuk memperkuat mekanisme ruiukan antar penyedia layanan kesehatan. Background. Rape can be viewed as a human right issue, all at once, rape is also studied as a community health issue, especially regarding women's health In recognition of long term consequence of rape that often emerge through physical health and also psychological health of the survivors. With regards to the complexity of the women's health problem that is faced by victim, focus of this research is to know on how the victim attempt to seek medical treatment, along with barrier which hinders them in accessing medical aid from the public health centers by not accessing the proper intervention. Objectives. The objective of this research is to know the health impact of rape towards women who are the victims of the said abuse and also to know how the victims will seek proper medical intervention and to know some of the barriers why public health institutions are not able to provide proper health services. Research Methodology . This research was conducted by qualitative study with explorative case study design. Data was collected through deep interview and were obtained using purposive sampling. This research was conducted through 3 victims of rape and also 5 hospitals and 1 local NGO, Rifka Annisa. Result. Research result showed there are many effects of rape that caused by victims, not only physical health and psychological health, but are also socially, economically including academic problem. Victims tended to choose to seek aid informally than formally help seeking like medical treatment. Some of the reasons why victims become hesitant in availing medical treatment in public health institutions are because of healthcare incompetence, bureaucracy, cost, avalaibility, and internal problem of victim. Barriers of health care provider include cost or operational, staff incompetence, and lack of sensitivity. Healthcare provider network can be reduce of barriers service utilization. Conclusion. The effect of rape which experienced by victim is very complicated, especially in health rights services point of view and researcher conclude that it needs to pose for interventions on how these barriers can be prevented and improved considering the availability of services that can be availed by the victims from the public health services, and likewise pose for recommendations on how these public health services could provide proper health services to victims Include to strengthening referral mechanism between healthcare service provider Keyword ; rape, health impact, help seeking, healthcare service
