Evaluasi nilai nutritif dan pengaruh penambahan mikrokapsul hidrosilat protein jeroan ikan bandeng dalam pakan terhadap pertumbuhan benih ikan patin (Pangasius pangasius)

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi nilai nutritif mikrokapsul hidrolisat protein jeroan ikan Bandeng dan pengaruh penambahan mikrokapsul hidrolisat protein jeroan ikan Bandeng tersebut ke dalam pakan terhadap pertumbuhan benih ikan Patin (Pangasius pangasius). Penelitian ini terdiri atas dua tahap, yaitu in vitro dan in vivo. Tahap in vitro meliputi analisis jeroan ikan Bandeng, pembuatan hidrolisat protein, pembuatan mikrokapsul hidrolisat protein, analisis asam amino mikrokapsul hidrolisat protein, dan pembuatan pakan. Mikrokapsul hidrolisat protein jeroan ikan Bandeng mempunyai komposisi kadar air sebesar 16,16 + 0,00%, abu 6,53 + 0,02%, lemak 1,00 + 0,00%, protein 16,55 + 0,18%, serat kasar 1,28 + 0,00%, dan ekstrak tanpa nitrogen 58,47 + 0,23%, asam amino yang terkandung meliputi alanin, arginin, aspartat, glutamat, glisin, histidin, isoleusin, leusin, lisin, metionin, fenilalanin, serin, treonin, triptopan, tirosin, dan valin, serta mempunyai kelarutan protein sebesar 16,37% dan kecernaan protein sebesar 94,74%. Tahap in vivo, mikrokapsul ditambahkan dalam pakan sebanyak 0%; 2,5%; 5%; 7,5%; dan 10%. Pakan tersebut diberikan kepada benih ikan Patin. Tempat percobaan menggunakan bak fiberglass berukuran 40x50x35 cm3 sebanyak 15 buah dan diisi air + 25 l. Benih ikan Patin ukuran 5 – 7 cm ditebar sebanyak 30 ekor ke dalam tiap-tiap bak dan dipelihara selama 60 hari. Pakan diberikan sebanyak 5% dari berat total tubuh dengan frekuensi pemberian sebanyak 2 kali, yaitu pagi dan sore hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan mikrokapsul hidrolisat protein jeroan ikan Bandeng dalam pakan tidak mempengaruhi pertumbuhan benih ikan Patin secara nyata (P > 0,05).

This experiment was conducted to evaluate the nutritive value protein hydrolysate microcapsules of milkfish viscera and the effect of its added to dietary for catfish (Pangasius pangasius) juveniles growth. The research divided in two stages, in vitro and in vivo. In vitro stages contains, the analyzing of milkfish viscera, making of protein hydrolysate, making and analyzing amino acids of protein hydrolysate microcapsules, and making of dietary. Protein hydrolysate microcapsules of milkfish viscera contains water 16.16 + 0.00%, ash 6.53 + 0.02%, lipid 1.00 + 0.00%, protein 16.55 + 0.18%, crude fiber 1.28 + 001%, and nitrogen free extract 58.47 + 0.23%, respectively, and amino acids such as, alanin, arginin, aspartat, glutamat, glysin, histidin, isoleucin, leucin, lysin, methionin, phenilalanin, serin, threonin, tryptophan, tyrosin, and valin. Dissolved and digestible protein was 16.37% and 94.74%, respectively. In vivo stages, added microcapsules in dietary of catfish 0%; 2.5%; 5%; 7.5%; and 10%, respectively. Thirty catfish juveniles were stocked in each of 15 fiberglass tanks filled with 25 l of water. The amount of catfish juveniles in each tank were 30 and length dimension of the juveniles were 5 to 7 cm. Catfish juveniles fed on this experimental diet 5% of total body weight during 60 days. The dietary was given to catfish juveniles two times daily. Result of the experiment showed that supplementation of milkfish viscera of protein hydrolysate microcapsules to dietary was not enough to support growth performance of catfish juveniles (P > 0.05).
