Dalam tesis ini dibahas pemetaan l.s.c (lower-semicontinuous), pemetaan u.s.c (upper-semicontinuous), konsep atau pengertian subsolusi, subsolusi terbesar, supersolusi, dan supersolusi terkecil dari persamaan (symbol) ( x ) = b, dengan (symbol) pemetaan isoton dari dioid lengkap D ke dioid lengkap C. Pada penelitian ini, ditemukan konsep atau pengertian subsolusi, subsolusi terbesar, supersolusi, dan supersolusi terkecil dari persamaan (symbol) ( x ) = b, dengan (symbol) pemetaan isoton dari dioid lengkap D ke dioid lengkap C, dengan cara mempelajari dan membuktikan beberapa teorema yang berlaku pada teori residuasi. Diberikan persamaan (symbol) ( x ) = b yang merupakan pemetaan isoton dari dioid lengkap D ke dioid lengkap C, maka diperoleh subsolusi terbesar untuk setiap b Î C, jika (symbol) ( e ) = e danÕ adalah pemetaan l.s.c, selanjutnya, diperoleh supersolusi terkecil untuk setiap b Î C, jika (symbol) ( T ) = T dan (symbol) adalah pemetaan u.s.c.

In this thesis we discuss l.s.c (lower-semicontinuous) mapping , u.s.c (uppersemicontinuous) mapping, concepts of a subsolution, a greates subsolution, a supersolution, and a least supersolution to equation (symbol) ( x ) = b, (simbol) be an isoton mapping from the complete dioid D into the complete dioid C. In this research, concepts of a subsolution, a greates subsolution, a supersolution, and a least supersolution were found to equation Õ ( x ) = b, (simbol) be an isoton mapping from the complete dioid D into the complete dioid C, by studying and proofing some theorms in the residuation theory. Let (simbol) be an isoton mapping from the complete dioid D into the complete dioid C, then, a greatest subsolution was found for all b Î C, if (simbol) ( e ) = e and (simbol) is l.s.c mapping, futhermore, a least supersolution was found for all b Î C , if (simbol) (T ) = T and (simbol) is u.s.c mapping.
