Analisis dan disain short messaging service (SMS) sebagai support kamus Bahasa Korea (Kamkornik)

Teknologi informasi adalah suatu kebutuhan yang penting bagi hampir seluruh penduduk dunia. Dengan informasi, manusia memiliki bekal wawasan yang baik. Demikian pula halnya dengan penguasaan bahasa asing. Untuk menguasai bahasa asing diperlukan kamus untuk mengetahui kosa kata yang diperlukan. Namun, untuk bahasa asing tertentu; seperti bahasa Korea tidak terlalu banyak kamus yang tersedia, padahal pemakai bahasa Korea di Indonesia telah semakin meningkat. Di samping hal tersebut, kamus identik dengan bentuk buku tebal yang berat sehingga tidak mudah untuk dibawa pada pelbagai kesempatan. Berdasarkan pemikiran tersebut, maka penulis merancang pembuatan kamus bahasa Korea yang mudah diakses dan dapat dibawa kemana pun berada. Rancangan kamus tersebut berbasis pada akses Short Messaging Service (SMS) sehingga mudah diakses dan efisien waktu dan tempat yang ditulis pada tesis ini. Penulisan tesis ini menggunakan metode penelitian eksploratif kualitatif yang tidak menggunakan data kuantitatif sebagai pemaparan hasil kajian. Studi pustaka dan wawancara menjadi teknik penunjang pembuatan rancangan kamus bahasa Korea berbasis pada akses Short Messaging Service (SMS) atau yang disebut dengan Kamkornik ini. Dari analisis terhadap rancangan Kamkornik ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan Kamkornik ini dapat lebih efektif dan efisien waktu dan tempat. Akses lebih cepat dan tidak perlu tempat khusus untuk membawa kamus yang tebal dan berat karena hanya menggunakan handphone. Hal lain yang berkaitan dengan e-business, pembuatan kamus Korea berbasis pada akses Short Messaging Service (SMS) ini dapat memberikan keuntungan yang baik bagi stasiun operator handphone dan juga perusahaan Kamkornik. Sistem kerja sama yang dibangun dapat dilakukan antara Kamkornik – stasiun operator handphone (B2B), Kamkornik - perusahaan lain (B2B), Kamkornik - stasiun operator handphone – user (B2B2C), Depnaker – user (B2C) untuk akses Short Messaging Service (SMS), pemasangan iklan baris atau logo perusahaan, dan regulasi. Pengguna kamus bahasa Korea terdiri dari kalangan masyarakat umum (masyarakat asing dan Indonesia), pelajar, calon Tenaga Kerja Indonesia, dan lain-lain. Pembuatan kamus Korea berbasis pada akses Short Messaging Service (SMS) dapat mengkompresi buku tebal dan berat (E-Channel Compression), membuat suatu perluasan fungsi Short Messaging Service (SMS) (E-Channel Expansion), dan berupa suatu inovasi karena belum pernah ada kamus yang berbasis pada akses Short Messaging Service (SMS) (E-Channel Innovation)

Information Technology is an important requirement for almost all people in the world. By means of information, people have a good provisions, likewise to compete the foreign language. To compete the foreign language needs a dictionary to know some vocabularies. Nevertheless for the definite languages; such as Korean Language, only a few dictionaries is supplied in Indonesia whereas the Korean language user is more and more increased. Beside it, usually the dictionary is identic to thick and heavy book shape until uneasy to be carried to any place. Based on that thinking, the author to design a Korean language dictionary that people can access and carry easily. The designing of this Korean language dictionary is based on the Short Messaging Service (SMS) access so that can be accessed easily and efficient to time and place. The author uses the qualitative explorative method for the research method and does not use a quantitative data as an investigation result explaining in this thesis writing. The library research and interview are supporting technics for the Korean language dictionary based on the Short Messaging Service (SMS) designing. This design is uttered Kamkornik. Based on the analysize of this Kamkornik designing, author to conclude that Kamkornik using is more effective and efficient to time and place. The access more fast and no need some special container to carry the dictionary that usually thick and heavy because the user only uses the handphone. The other thing that connecting to e-business is Korean language dictionary based on the Short Messaging Service (SMS) designing gives a good benefit to the handphone operator station and also for the Kamkornik company. The cooperation system are between Kamkornik and handphone operator station (B2B), Kamkornik and handphone operator station and user (B2B2C) for Short Messaging Service (SMS) access, advertising or company symbol representation, and regulation. Korean language dictionary user are common people (foreigner and Indonesian), students, Indonesian Worker Aplicant to other country, and et cetera. Korean language dictionary based on the Short Messaging Service (SMS) access can compress the thick and heavy book (E-Channel Compression), to broaden the function of Short Messaging Setrvice (SMS) (E-Channel Expansion), and to make an inovation because there is no the dictionary based on Short Messaging Service (SMS) yet (E-Channel Innovation).
