Virtual local area network (VLAN) dalam meningkatkan performa jaringan di Sekretariat Daerah Pemerintah Kabupaten Sragen

Jaringan Sekretariat Daerah Kabupaten Sragen meliputi 18 SKPD dan 2 Sekertaris Pribadi. Jaringan Setda Kabupaten Sragen menggunakan switch Un- Manageable dan kabel UTP Cat-5. Jaringan Setda Kabupaten Sragen digunakan sebagai komunikasi menggunakan Vicon dan juga aplikasi Sistem Informasi yang ada. Performa jaringan Setda kabupaten Sragen belum maksimal, hal ini dikarenakan sering terjadi gangguan seperti Ip Conflict, terputusnya jaringan antar switch, penyebaran virus ke semua jaringan, penggunaan bandwidth yang tidak merata. Keadaan tersebut sangatlah mengganggu aktifitas serta komunikasi antar SKPD. Penggunaan switch Un-Manageable dianggap penulis sebagai salah satu sebab terjadinya gangguan-gangguan yang ada, untuk itu perlu penggantian swicth Un-Manageable menjadi Swicth Manageable, yang mana di dalam switch Manageable dapat ditingkatkan performa jaringan dengan pemanfaatan Vlan, Priority Port, Grouping Port dan redundancy port sehingga gangguan seperti Ip Conflict, penyebaran virus yang meluas, penggunaan bandwicth yang tidak merata dapat dikurangi atau di alokasi ke jaringan tertentu saja. Setelah dilakukan penelitian, terlihat bahwa dalam melakukan Vicon terdapat gangguan gambar dan suara yang terputus, dengan Vlan, Priority Port dan Grouping Port maka hasilnya menjadi lebih bagus dengan gambar dan suara yang jelas. Gangguan Ip Conflict dan penyebaran virus yang meluas dapat diatasi dengan pemanfaatan Vlan. Penyebaran Bandwidth yang kurang merata dapat diatasi dengan Vlan, Grouping Port dan Priority port. Gangguan terputusnya jaringan antar swicth dapat diatasi dengan Redundancy dari switch Manageable. Dari penelitian yang dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemanfaatan Vlan, Priority Port, Grouping Port dan Redundancy dalam penggunaan switch Manageable dapat meningkatkan performa jaringan dan mengatasi gangguan seperti Vicon yang kurang maksimal, Ip Conflict, Penyebaran Virus, terputusnya jaringan antar swicth dan pemakaian bandwidth yang tidak merata.

The situation is very disrupt the activities and communications among SKPD. Usability of switches Un-Manageable considered as one the authors of the occurrence of interference-interference that is, the need for replacement swicth Un-Manageable become Swicth Manageable, which Manageable switches in the network performance can be improved with the use of VLAN, Port Priority, and Port Grouping redundancy port so that interference such as the Conflict Ip, a wide spread of the virus, which does not use bandwidth can be reduced or in the allocation to a particular network only. Once the research is done, visible in doing that there is interference Vicon picture and sound that is lost, with VLAN, Port Priority and the result Grouping Port to be better with the picture and clear sound. Ip interference Conflict and the spread of the virus that can be overcome with the widespread use of VLANs. Bandwidth distribution of the less can be overcome with VLAN, Port Grouping and Priority port. Interference between network dissolution swicth can be overcome with the Redundancy of Manageable switches. From the research have be done can be conclusion that the use of VLAN, Port Priority, Port Grouping and Redundancy in the use of Manageable switches can improve network performance and overcome interference, such as the Vicon less than maximum, Ip Conflict, Computer Viruses, swicth between network dissolution and the use of bandwidth uneven
