Puskesmas merupakan tempat Pusat Kesehatan Masyarakat yang sebagian sudah menggunakan teknologi komputer, salah satunya digunakan untuk layanan obat-obatan di Puskesmas. Pembuatan resep dokter merupakan gerbang perawatan medis formal dan sangat menentukan penggunaan obat. Penerapan standar pelayanan resep di apotek dapat digunakan sebagai tolak ukur kinerja profesi dalam menjamin keselamatan umum yaitu penggunaan obat secara tepat, aman dan rasional. Standar pelayanan resep khususnya dalam pemeriksaan keabsahan dan kelengkapan resep, kebenaran rejimen terapi, pemberian harga, penyiapan peracikan, pencatatan data pasien, penyerahan obat termasuk informasi kepada pasien dan konsultasi dengan dokter serta penyimpanan resep dan kerahasiaannya akan dapat membantu menjamin kinerja yang profesional, tiap individu dalam organisasi Puskesmas bertanggung jawab atas kepuasan konsumen dan pelayanan yang diharapkan. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut dan dalam rangka memenuhi kebutuhan informasi yang baik di lingkungan Puskesmas maka perlu dibangun dan dikembangkan sistem informasi berbasis Client-Server untuk layanan Obat-obatan di Puskesmas yang memberikan informasi yang lengkap, dan cepat. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah Sistem Informasi berbasis Client Server untuk layanan Obat-obatan yang dapat membantu kerja pegawai di Puskesmas mulai dari proses pendaftaran, pencarian kartu pasien, melihat data rekam medis pasien, pengolahan atau pembacaan resep, perhitungan sisa stok obat dan laporan obat.

Puskesmas, or the Center for Society’s Health, stands for Pusat Kesehatan Masyarakat which parts of it have used computer technology. One of the goals is to give a better service of medicines to the society. The usage of doctor’s prescription is one way leading to a formal medical treatment and becoming an important thing in the use medicines. The implication of the prescription service standards in the pharmacy can be used to measure professional quality in giving guarantee for general security which is in the use of medicines appropriately, securely, and rationally. Prescription services standards are particularly in checking the legality and the completeness of the prescriptions, the propriety of therapy regiment, determining the prices, preparing the mixture of the substances, recording the patient’s data, giving the medicines and the information the patients and holding the consultation with the doctors as well as the storage of the medicines and its secret prescriptions will be able to help professional capability, every person of Puskesmas is responsible for the costumer’s satisfactory and the services which is expected by all people. To cope with this issue and to fulfill the appropriate information in Puskesmas environment so that it needs to establish and to develop an information system based on Client-Server to give medicines service in Puskesmas which can give a complete and quick information. The results of this research is one Information System based on Client Server that gives the medicines service which can help employees’ work in Puskesmas begun from the listing process, searching for patients’ card’s, checking the patients’ medical recording data, reading and managing the prescription, calculation of the remnants of medicines stocks, and the medicines reporting.
