Analisis hubungan kemampuan kerja, motivasi kerja terhadap produktivitas kerja karyawan Balai Besar POM DKI Jakarta

Produktivitas merupakan salah satu faktor utama bagi instansi dalam mencapai tujuan yang telah ditetapkan. Ada beberapa faktor yang dapat meningkatkan produktivitas kerja pegawai, diantaranya: kemampuan kerja dan motivasi kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan besarnya kemampuan kerja, motivasi kerja dan produktivitas kerja pegawai, menganalisis hubungan antara variabel tersebut, yang diharapkan dapat memberikan manfaat kepada instansi, peneliti dan karyawan. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif dan assosiatif dengan metode pendekatan studi kasus yang didukung oleh metode survey non eksperimen. Jumlah responden yang digunakan sebanyak 87 orang pegawai Balai Besar POM Jakarta. Data yang dikumpulkan menggunakan kuisioner kemampuan kerja, motivasi kerja dan produktivitas yang terdiri dari 65 item pernyataan dengan satuan pengukuran skala Likert, yang terlebih dahulu diuji validitas dan reliabilitas sebanyak 37 orang pegawai Balai Besar POM Yogyakarta. Untuk mengetahui besarnya kemampuan kerja, motivasi kerja dan produktivitas kerja, serta hubungan kemampuan kerja dan motivasi kerja terhadap produktivitas kerja pegawai Balai Besar POM Jakarta digunakan analisis deskriptif, korelasi, regresi linier dan berganda dengan uji Product Moment dari alat uji SPSS versi 15,0 for windows. Hasil uji deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan kerja karyawan Balai Besar POM Jakarta sebesar 84,3%, motivasi kerja 76,3% dan produktivitas kerja 79,8%. Indikator yang paling besar pada variabel kemampuan kerja adalah pelatihan kerja (85,6%), motivasi kerja adalah tanggungjawab (79,9%) dan produktivitas kerja adalah kedewasaan bekerja (80,2%). Hasil uji korelasi Product Moment secara linier dan benganda menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan kerja dan motivasi kerja mempunyai pengaruh yang positif terhadap produktivitas kerja pegawai Balai Besar POM Jakarta (r kemampuan = 0,706, r motivasi = 0,690 dan r ganda = 0,765).

Productivity is one of the main factors for a government institution to succeed and achieve their targeted goals. There are several factors which can improve employee’s productivity, some of them are: work ability and work motivation. This research is aimed at measuring the range of work ability, work motivation and work productivity of employees and analyzing the relationship between those variables. The result of this research is expected to give benefit to the institution involved, their employees and the researcher himself. This research was carried out descriptively and associatively by using case studies method, which is supported by non experimental survey method. As many as 87 employees of the Jakarta Central office of Drugs and Food Administration (BB POM) were involved as respondents in the survey. Data were collected using questionnaires work ability, work motivation and work productivity containing 65 items of questions equipped with Likert scale measurement unit. The validity and reliability of the questions had previously been tested to 37 employees of the Yogyakarta Office of Drugs and Food Administration. In order to find out the range of work ability, work motivation and work productivity of employees, as well as the relationship of work ability and motivation to work productivity of employees of the Jakarta Central Office of Drugs and Food Administration, descriptive analysis, correlation, linier and double regression with Product Moment test from SPSS ver. 15.0 for windows were used. The result of descriptive test suggests that the work ability of employees of the Jakarta Central Office of Drugs and Food Administration is 84.34%, work motivation counts for 76.29%, while work productivity reaches 79.81. The most influential indicator to the work ability is work training (85.61%), to work motivation is responsibility (79.89%) and to work productivity is maturity in handling their job (80.19%). The result of the Product Moment correlation test in linier and double, suggests that work ability and motivation gives positive influence to work productivity of employees of the Jakarta Central Office of Drugs and Food Administration (r ability = 0.706, r motivation = 0.690 and r double = 0.765).
