Supervisi dan iklim kerja terhadap kinerja perawat gigi di puskesmas Kota Pontianak

Latar belakang: Kota Pontianak memiliki 22 puskesmas yang tersebar di 5 kecamatan, masing-masing puskesmas mempunyai 1 unit BP gigi. Petugas pemberi jasa pelayanan kesehatan gigi terdiri dari dokter gigi 19 orang dan perawat gigi 52 orang. Pelaksanaan UKGS pada murid SD tahun 2005 di Kota Pontianak yang sudah dilakukan adalah pemeriksaan kepada 27,85% murid dan perawatan kepada 24,72% murid, sedangkan target secara nasional adalah 50%. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara supervisi dan iklim kerja dengan kinerja perawat gigi di Puskesmas Kota Pontianak dan melihat faktor yang paling berperan terhadap kinerja perawat gigi. Metode: Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dan kualitatif dengan rancangan cross sectional. Subjek penelitian semua perawat gigi PNS yang berjumlah 52 orang. Alat ukur yang digunakan : kuesioner supervisi, iklim kerja dan kinerja serta panduan wawancara mendalam (in-depth interview). Skala data yang digunakan skala interval, skoringnya menggunakan skala Likert. Analisis statistik menggunakan regresi berganda dan korelasi terhadap kedua variabel. Kesimpulan: Terdapat hubungan bermakna antara supervisi dengan kinerja perawat gigi, terdapat hubungan bermakna antara iklim kerja dengan kinerja perawat gigi. Secara bersama-sama terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara supervisi dan iklim kerja dengan kinerja perawat gigi dengan tingkat korelasi sedang, faktor yang paling berperan terhadap kinerja perawat gigi adalah iklim kerja yang didominasi oleh dimensi imbalan dan kepemimpinan. Disarankan kepada Dinas Kesehatan Kota Pontianak untuk memberikan support system kepada perawat gigi.

Background: Pontianak municipality has 22 primary health cares which are widely distributed in five sub districts, and each primary health care has one unit of dental BP. The health care provider of dental health service consisted of 19 dentists and 52 dental nurses. The implementation of UKGS in primary school student in the year of 2005 in Pontianak municipality was health check up toward 27.85% of students and treatment to 24.72% of students while the national target was 50%. Objective: This research was aimed to find out the relationship between supervision and work climate toward work performance of dental nurse in the primary health care of Pontianak municipality and find out the most significant factor toward work performance of dental nurse. Method: The method being used was quantitative and qualitative with cross sectional design. The research subject was all civil servant dental nurses that were 52 people; and the instrument being used was supervision questionaire, work climate and work performance as well as in-depth interview guidance. The scale of data being used was interval scale, and the score being used was Likert scale. The statistic analysis used double regression and correlation toward both of the variables. Conclusion: There was a significant relationship between supervision and work performance of dental nurse, between work climate and work performance of dental nurse and between supervision and work climate and work performance of dental nurse with medium correlation level. The most dominant factor toward work performance of dental nurse was work climate that was dominated by incentive dimension and leadership. It was suggested to the municipality health office of Pontianak to give support system to the dental nurse.
