Penerapan Preventive dan Predictive Maintenance melalui metode Reliability-Centered Maintenance II (RCM II) untuk meningkatkan performansi pompa Produced Water Disposal

2007 | Tesis | Magister ManajemenStudi ini dilakukan di VICO INDONESIA, sebuah perusahaan minyak dan gas bumi multinasional di Kalimantan Timur, yang bertujuan untuk merancang penerapan perawatan preventif dan prediktif melalui metode Reliability-centered Maintenance II (RCM II) pada pompa Produced Water Disposal serta menganalisis kelayakan metode RCM II tersebut apabila diterapkan di perusahaan. Rancangan penerapan perawatan tersebut dilakukan dengan menentukan interval waktu perawatan optimal dan tindakan perawatan yang sesuai supaya frekuensi kerusakan komponen pompa dapat dikurangi, performansi pompa dapat ditingkatkan dan dampak terhadap keselamatan operator dan lingkungan dapat diminimalkan. Studi dilakukan dengan penyusunan Failure Mode and Effect Analysis dan Decision Worksheet untuk masing-masing komponen pompa sehingga dapat diperoleh informasi kegaga lan dan tindakan perawatan yang sesuai (proposed task) sebagai panduan perawatan pompa. Melalui uji peringkat bertanda Wilcoxon, diketahui bahwa terbukti secara statistik, metode RCM II memiliki efek yang berarti terhadap peningkatan keandalan, ketersediaan dan maintainability komponen pompa (nilai statistik hitung < nilai statistik tabel). Dengan demikian, peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa melalui metode RCM II, pihak manajemen dapat menerapkan manajemen keandalan efektif pada pompa Produced Water Disposal dan ikut mendukung upaya perlindungan terhadap keselamatan operator dan lingkungan.
This paper which was conducted in VICO INDONESIA, an oil and gas company in East Kalimantan, planned to design the application of preventive and predictive maintenance of Produced Water Disposal pump through Reliabilitycentered Maintenance II method (RCM II), and to analyze the feasibility of RCM II method if applied in the company. The maintenance application is designed by determining the optimal maintenance time interval and the proper maintenance task in order to minimize the frequency of pump failure, to increase the pump performance, and also to minimize the safety and environment consequences. This paper conducted by designing Failure Mode and Effect Analysis and Decision Worksheet to each pump component to obtain component failure information and proper proposed task as the pump maintenance reference. Through Wilcoxon signed rank test, the researcher found that RCM II method has significant effect to the increase of pump component’s reliability, availability and maintainability (statistic estimated value < statistic table value). Hence the researcher concluded that through RCM II method applied to the pump, the company could implement the effective maintenance management and also could support their effort to protect the human safety and the environment.
