Analisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi minat Haji masyarakat Kota Gorontalo 2002-2006

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi minat haji masyarakat Kota Gorontalo (yang dikenal sebagai Daerah Serambi Madinah) , baik faktor ekonomi maupun faktor non ekonomi. Di samping itu, penelitian ini juga untuk menganalisis besaran bantuan APBD Kota Gorontalo untuk pengelolaan haji runtun waktu tahun 2002 sampai dengan 2006. Alat analisis untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi minat haji masyarakat Kota Gorontalo adalah analisis kualitatif diskriptif. Riset kualitatif ini sulit dikuantikfisir, maka untuk menjamin validitas hasil penyelidikan digunakan wawancara dan kuesioner untuk mengukur jawaban responden atas suatu daftar pertanyaan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa bantuan dana APBD Pemerintah Daerah Kota Gorontalo untuk pengelolaan haji rata – rata setiap tahunnya berkisar 0,123 %, cukup kecil. Ada beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi minat haji masyarakat Kota Gorontalo, proporsi faktor yang paling penting / dominan yaitu : Faktor agama 100%, faktor pendidikan 97.7%, faktor pendapatan asli pribadi haji 95,56%, faktor keluarga 86,67%, faktor lingkungan dan kebudayaan 46,67%, dan faktor bantuan biaya dari pihak lain 6,67%. Ketentuan besarnya kuota haji Kota Gorontalo yang ditetapkan oleh Kantor Wilayah Departemen Agama Provinsi Gorontalo lebih kecil dibandingkan dengan jumlah peminat haji masyarakat Kota Gorontalo, sehingga terjadi waiting list .

This study aims to analyze influencing factors either economical or noneconomical toward pilgrimage interest of Gorontalo city community (which is popular as “Daerah Serambi Madinah). Also, this study is to analyze the amount of fund provided by the local budget of Gorontalo city for the pilgrimage management in the period of time 2002 to 2006. This study used descriptive qualitative analysis to recognize the influencing factors toward pilgrimage interest in Gorontalo city community. Since this qualitative study is quite difficult to quantify, to ensure the validity of the findings, interview and questionnaire have been used to measure participants’ responses on the list of provided questions. The result of this study shows that the amount of fund provided by the local budget of Gorontalo city for the pilgrimage management program is quite low approximately in the level of 0,123%. There are several influencing factors toward the pilgrimage interest in Gorontalo city, the proportion of the dominant factors is as follow: religion faktor 100%, education faktor 97,7%, the private income of the pilgrim 95,56 %, family factor 86,67% as well as environment and cultural factor 44,67% and the pilgrimage funding from other 6,67%. The number of pilgrimage quota for Gorontalo city determined by the Head of Regional Office of Relegion Department is lower compared to the number of Gorontalo city community who are interested in doing pilgrimage, as a consequence there is always a waiting list.
