Hubungan gaya kepemimpinan dan struktur organisasi Rumah Sakit Pelabuhan Cirebon terhadap kepuasan kerja perawat dan bidan

Rumah Sakit)-Rumah Sakit Pelabuhan Cirebon yang selanjutnya disebut sebagai RSP Cirebon diindikasi mempunyai permasalahan dengan produktivitas atau kinerja organisasi yang diprediksi berkait erat dengan kepuasan kerja. Permasalahan ini kemungkinan berhubungan dengan kepemimpinan dan struktur organisasi karena adanya perubahan status rumah sakit. Untuk mengetahui lebih lanjut bagaimana hubungan antara gaya kepemimpinan, struktur organisasi dan kepuasan kerja dilakukan penelitian analitik dengan rancangan cross sectional dengan sampel semua perawat dan bidan yang bekerja di pelayanan rawat jalan, pelayanan gawat darurat, ruang perawatan dan kamar operasi RSP Cirebon. Penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen berupa kuesioner gaya kepemimpinan dan struktur organisasi dengan pola jawaban dikotomi “Ya†atau “Tidakâ€, sedangkan instrumen kepuasan kerja dengan skala interval empat, dengan kriteria (1) sangat tidak puas; (2) tidak puas; (3) puas dan (4) sangat puas. Hasil penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan yang berlaku di RSP Cirebon adalah gaya kepemimpinan demokratik. Struktur organisasi yang berlaku di RSP Cirebon adalah struktur organisasi birokrasi yang menekankan kepada spesialisasi dan formalisasi. Rata-rata, tenaga perawat dan bidan merasa puas bekerja di rumah sakit ini, namun berdasarkan data per faktor, ada sebagian kecil responden yang belum merasa puas, khususnya untuk hal-hal yang berhubungan dengan: (1) penyeliaan; (2) rekan sejawat; (3) promosi; dan (4) upah. Dari keempat faktor tersebut, upah dan promosi merupakan faktor dominan yang menyebabkan responden tidak puas.
Rumah Sakit Pelabuhan (RSP) Cirebon as organization in the field of health service have problems with productivity or organization performance which predicted correlating by satisfaction. Based on data of Bagian Personalia at RSP Cirebon, in 2004 noted that number of nurse turn over more than 2% and in 2005 nurse turn over almost 2%, while the number of that phenomena allowed < 2%. %. If RSP Cirebon as hospital want to be survive, he was analyzing why the nurses moving or going out. The other problem which correlating by satisfaction is changed of hospital status which directly could affect to leadership and organization structure in that hospital. To know furthermore how the relation among of leadership style, organization structure and satisfaction were done analytic research with cross sectional which nurses and midwives who work in ambulatory care, service care, emergency room and operating theater being subject in this research. This research used three instrument, those were instrument for satisfaction, leadership style and organization structure. Two instruments have dichotomy answer that were " Yes" or " Not", and the other one work with four interval scale which criteria were ( 1) very dissatisfy; ( 2) dissatisfy; ( 3) satisfying and ( 4) very satisfy. To analyze the data, Statistic Program For Social Science ( SPSS) version 13.0 would be used to express about correlation among leadership style, organization structure and satisfaction. There were positive correlation and significance among style of leadership and organization structure with satisfaction; Beside that the result of leadership style got democratic leadership was being implementation in RSP Cirebon; The other analyses was concluding that bureaucracy was organization structure in RSP Cirebon with emphasis of specialization and formalization; While, the result of concerning about satisfaction showed that nurses and midwives were getting satisfaction work in this hospital. Nevertheless, the analyses among the factors got facts those were dissatisfy. This condition related to ( 1) supervision; ( 2) colleague; ( 3) promotion; and ( 4) fee; Which factors of fee and promotion were causing dominant of dissatisfy.
