Analisa data menggunakan SPSS 13,0 Univariate Analysis of Variance. Antar tipe Judging dan Perceiving: the F = 2,638 ; p = 0,115.

The main objectives of this experimental study with quantitative data was to evaluate the effectiveness of the Personal Effectiveness Program (PEP) conducted and led by the author and his team from Gloria People Development Center. This personal changing program was designed and structured according to the world’s most popular personal and leadership training program based on the best selling book by Stephen R. Covey (1993), “Seven Habits of Highly Effective People”. One day before and three weeks after the training, participants were asked to administer a self assessment on their personal effectiveness using Self-Scoring 7 Habits Assessment translated from the 7 Habits Personal Workbook (Covey, 2003). Further, the study also focused on the PEP impact on the different Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) personality types of the participants. MBTI’s self assessment were used as a tools to identify the participant’s personality types. Using purposive sampling, the participants of the PEP batch three conducted by Gloria People Development Center were the main subjects of the study, consisted of 18 staffs of P.T. Widya Karsa Mandiri, main dealer of Panasonic Communication Devices in Jogja; 5 staffs from P.T. Gloria Usaha Mulia, publishing house and distributor of Christianity Literatures; and 9 were under graduate bachelors and senior students from psychology, forestry, engineering, and multimedia design. Data were analyzed using SPSS 13.0’s General Linear Model with two repeated measures (the pre and post test) to see whether or not the personal effectiveness significantly increased in the post test as stated in the first hypothesis. The results demonstrated that participants found the PEP was significantly effective in increasing the personal effectiveness. The mean score increased from 102, 78 in the Pre Test to 112,72 in the Post Test (F = 27,335 ; p = 0,000). While it maybe true, the second hypothesis stated that there should be no significant differences of the MBTI’s personality types in the gain score between Pre and Post Test Personality Effectiveness Assessment, since the PEP had been designed and structured in particular to accommodate the different learning styles of the participants. The data were analyzed using SPSS 13’0’s Univariate Analysis of Variance. The result showed that this hypothesis also verified, there was no significant differences between the Introverted and Extraverted: F = 0,614 ; p = 0,439. No significant differences between the Intuitive and Sensing: F = 0,000 ; p = 0,985. No significant differences between the Feeling and Thinking: F = 0,020 ; p = 0,888. No significant differences between the Judging and Perceiving: F = 2,638 ; p = 0,115. The study does not show any significant differences across all four main dimensions of MBTI personality types, suggesting that the effectiveness of the PEP does not influenced by the different MBTI’s personality types .
