Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Kualitas layanan (X1) dan Metode mengajar (X2) terhadap pemanfaatan perpustakaan oleh siswa di Perpustakaan Sekolah SMAN 1 Depok. Dengan tiga hipotesis, pertama terdapat pengaruh positif kualitas layanan terhadap pemanfaatan perpustakaan oleh siswa; kedua terdapat pengaruh positif metode mengajar terhadap pemanfaatan perpustakaan oleh siswa, ketiga secara bersama-sama kualitas layanan dan metode mengajar berpengaruh positif terhadap pemanfaatan perpustakaan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif eksplanatif, menggunakan metode survey. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah seluruh siswa SMUN 1 Depok sebesar 756 orang, dari populasi tersebut yang dijadikan sampel 92 orang. Teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah random sampling. Pengumpulan data dari data primer dan sekunder, melalui observasi, wawancara dan studi literature. Data utama dikumpulkan dengan angket yang terlebih dahulu diuji validitas dan reliabilitas. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa; pertama variabel kualitas layanan memperoleh skor rata-rata atas (3,26). Hal ini menunjukkan kualitas layanan perpustakaan berada pada kategori cukup. Kedua variabel metode mengajar memperoleh skor rata-rata atas (3,46). Menunjukkan metode mengajar guru sudah cukup bagus yang mengarah pada siswa sebagai subjek, harus kreatif dan inovatif. Ketiga variabel pemanfaatan perpustakaan memperoleh skor ratarata kuat (3,74), menunjukkan tingginya kesadaran siswa terhadap fungsi dan manfaat perpustakaan sekolah. Hasil analisis inferensial menunjukkan: pertama Kualitas layanan berpengaruh positif terhadap pemanfaatan perpustakaan t hitung 3,268 > t tabel 1,987; kedua metode mengajar tidak berpengaruh positif terhadap pemanfaatan perpustakaan diperoleh t hitung 1,465 < tabel 1,987; ketiga secara simultan variabel kualitas layanan dan metode mengajar berpengaruh terhadap pemanfaatan perpustakaan diperoleh F hitung 9,430 > F tabel 3,10.

The purpose of this study is to find out the influence of Service Quality (X1) and Teaching Method (X2) on the use of school library by the students of SMUN 1 Depok, based on three hypotheses. First, there is positive influence of service quality on the use of school library by the students; second, there is positive influence of teaching method on the use of school library by the students; third both service quality and teaching method has positive influence on the use of school library. This study is an explanative descriptive study, using survey method. The population is all 756 students of SMUN 1 Depok, of which 92 of them were the samples. The technique used in this study is random sampling. The data were collected from primary and secondary data, by observation, interviews and literature study. The primary data collected using questionnaires, in which the validity and the reliability have been tested. The data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The result of the descriptive analysis from the mean score shows that; first, the mean score of services quality variable the has upper score (3,26). It shows that the library service quality is in the category of sufficient. Second, the teaching method variable has the upper score (3,46), shows that the teaching method used by teacher; students as the subject is good enough, and expected to be more creative and innovative. Third, the variable of library use has the upper mean score (3,74); which shows that students high awareness on the use and function of school library. The inferential analysis shows; first, service quality has positive influence on the library use, where t count 3,268 > t table 1,987; second, the teaching method has no positive influence of the library use, t count 1,465 < t table 1,987; third, Simultaneously the service quality and teaching method variables influence the library use, F count 9,430 > F table 3,10.
