national sugar industry. The fulfillment of the sugar needy that has been increasing more and more lately is highly dependent from sugar imports mostly post economic crisis. There are three internal factors which influence the competitiveness, which are cane production, field volume and rendement. The two most important factors are the increasing of rendement ubiquitous cane produc tivity per hectare by using the proper method of choosing the proper qualified seed and implement the suitable techniques. The increasing of productivity has the cost so called cane cost productivity, which one of the components contain cost plant. This research aim to knowing the composition of cost plant per hectare, the trend of total cost plant per hectare, and efficiency of total cost plant to the cane productivity per ton in PT. SweetIndo Lampung ranged from year 2002-2006. Two main component of cost plant which been the focus of our research are basic price and incentive. Pareto chart analyses has shown that the highest basic price component along the year 2002 until 2006 in rows are spread, cut up and cover, second level is transportation, the third level is seed cultivate. Meanwhile for incentive cost analyses has shown that the highest cost rank is the incentive for the distance of genuine seed – zone C, wet area – plant area , the distance of genuine seed – Zone B. The trend of total cost plant has experienced the dynamic moving of up and down. The total biggest of cost plant happened in year 2002. Well suppressed on cost plant happened along the year of 2003 until year 2004. Comparing output of efficiency on the side of basic cost, incentive cost through the total, has shown that the biggest efficiency happened on year 2004. This proved has shown that the best company performance along last five years happened on year 2004, which by minimum cost plant could reached the maximum cane productivity.
