Strategi Outsourcing dan implementasi pengembangan aplikasi strategis :: Studi kasus Outsourcing dan pengembangan aplikasi penjualan dan distribusi di PT Tigaraksa Satria, Tbk

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari dampak strategi outsourcing terhadap operasi suatu perusahaan, mengkaji manfaat outsourcing bagi perusahaan tersebut dan menentukan metodologi dan strategi yang tepat dalam pelaksanaan dan implementasi outsourcing sehingga outsourcing tersebut dapat berhasil sesuai dengan target yang ditetapkan perusahaan. Penelitian ini membahas outsourcing berdasar pada studi literature teknologi informasi dengan kasus yang sedang berjalan di PT. Tigaraksa Satria Tbk (Tigaraksa) yang berfokus pada outsourcing managemen sistem aplikasi penjualan dan distribusi di perusahaan tersebut. Hasil dari analisis menggunakan metode Porter’s Five Forces dan McFarlan Strategic Grid, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa aplikasi yang dikembangkan dan dioutsource- kan Tigaraksa jauh dari core competencies perusahaan dan hanya bersifat support, sehingga outsourcing TI Tigaraksa tersebut tidak akan mempengaruhi proses bisnis perusahaan. Strategi pelaksanaan Outsourcing TI Tigaraksa secara umum sudah sesuai dengan metode outsourcing yang sudah terbukti keberhasilannya, yaitu metode dari Maurice F. Greaver II ”The Seven Steps Successfull Outsourcing” sehingga proses pelaksanaan outsourcing dapat berjalan sesuai dengan target yang ditetapkan perusahaan. Sedangkan pada tahap implementasi, Tim outsourcing Tigaraksa menggunakan metode Daur Hidup, sehingga proses implementasi aplikasi dapat berjalan sesuai dengan jadwal dan berhasil diimplementasikan di seluruh cabang Tigaraksa.

This research comes to learn the impact of the outsourcing strategy of the company operation, benefit for the company and determine the correct strategy and methodologies in execution and implementation of outsourcing so that can succeed as according to goals specified of the company. This research has studying the outsourcing based on the study of the information technology literature with the PT Tigaraksa Satria, Tbk (Tigaraksa) case going on. It’s focused in outsourcing of the management system for application of sale and distribution in this company. The analysis result’s use the Porter's Five Forces and McFarlan Strategic Grid method, obtained conclusion that application developed and outsourced of the company that so far away from core competencies of the company and only have the character of the support, so that the IT outsourcing of Tigaraksa will not influence the process of company business. The strategy of Tigaraksa IT Outsourcing Execution in general have as according to proven by outsourcing method its efficacy, that is method from Maurice F. Greaver II “The Seven Steps Successful Outsourcing" so that process the ambulatory execution outsourcing as according to goals specified of company aim. While at the implementation phase, a team of the Tigaraksa Outsourcing use the Live Cycle method, so that process of the application implementation ambulatory according to the schedule and implementation of the Tigaraksa branch have Succeed.
