Analisis penerapan Computer Based Training pada proses perakitan produk di Industri Manufaktur

Hasil tes diujikan dengan metode statistik mean difference dengan membandingkan nilai pre dan post masing masing kelompok. Kesimpulan dari penelitian adalah pelatihan perakitan produk dengan menggunakan Computer based Training memberikan perubahan yang signifikan terhadap pemahaman siswa. Hal ini mendukung hipotesa penelitian yang menyatakan pelatihan CBT memberikan aspek pemahaman yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan pelatihan konvensional
This study analyzes the application of a computer-based learning method on the product assembling process at manufacturing industry, in comparison with the existing conventional learning method. The case study was held at PT Mega Andalan Kalasan, a manufacturer of hospital equipments. The computer-based learning method was implemented for 46 employees to assemble one of the products The research samples were divided into two groups: treatment and control. The treatment group was given the computer-based learning method while the control group was given the conventional one. Each group was given 2 (two) kinds of test: a pre-test prior to the implementation of the learning method and a post-test after learners experienced the learning method. The test consists of 23 (twentythree) questions representing each comprehension aspect. The test result was statistically tested using mean difference by comparing the scores of pre-test and post-test of each group. The conclusion of this study is that a computer-based training for product assembling process gives a significant effect for learner’s comprehension. This conclusion supports the research hypothesis stating that a CBT (computer-based training) gives a better comprehension aspect than the conventional one.
