Pemasaran ekowisata Pulau Yoop Taman Nasional Teluk Cenderawasih Kabupaten Teluk Wondama, Irian Jaya Barat

2007 | Tesis | S2 Ilmu Kehutanan (Magister Konservasi Sumber DayaPenelitian berjudul Pemasaran Ekowisata Pulau Yoop Taman Nasional Teluk Cenderawasih Kabupaten Teluk Wondama, Irian Jaya Barat bertujuan mengkaji produk ekowisata (atraksi, amenitas, aksesibilitas), kekuatan internal dan eksternal pemasaran ekowisata dan perencanaan strategi pemasaran ekowisata Pulau Yoop Taman Nasional Teluk Cenderawasih. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan teknik survai. Data dikumpulkan secara observasi dan wawancara semi struktural yang mengacu pada panduan pengamatan (observation sheet) dan pedoman wawancara (interview guide). Hasil penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan SWOT untuk arah pengembangan dan pemasaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Pulau Yoop memiliki potensi obyek dan daya tarik wisata cukup tinggi, yaitu formasi hutan yang terdiri dari hutan mangrove, hutan pantai, hutan tropis dataran rendah dan hutan dataran tinggi dimanan terdapat ± 35 jenis tumbuhan berkayu, 29 jenis paku-pakuan, 12 jenis palem, tiga jenis kantung semar. Potensi satwaliar : enam jenis mamalia, empat jenis reptil dan 15 jenis burung. Potensi perairan laut : 13 jenis terumbu karang, 4 jenis lamun, 29 jenis ikan. Fenomena alam berupa pantai berpasir, goa, mata air, aliran air, air terjun, teluk, rawa, pasang surut, gunung, lembah dan bebatuan membentuk lanskap berkualitas sangat tinggi. Potensi budaya dan kesenian tradisional masyarakat antara lain : tarian balengan, tarian Ri dan upacara adat tradisional seperti ikuturnado, wisata radio dan wisusarak. Kegiatan promosi belum dilakukan secara baik dan terstruktur oleh lembaga pengelola yang ada. Kelembagaan dan sumberdaya manusia pengelola belum memadai, baik kuantitas maupun kualifikasinya. Program pemasaran ekowisata Pulau Yoop dilakukan setelah pengelola melakukan strategi bauran pemasaran (produk, harga, distribusi dan promosi) secara baik.
The research entitled Ecotourism Marketing of Yoop Island in Teluk Cenderawasih National Park Teluk Wondama Regency, West Irian Jaya was aimed to study ecotourism product (attraction, amenity and accessibility), internal and external power related to ecotourism marketing and strategy design of ecotourism marketing of Yoop Island, Teluk Cenderawasih National Park. This research using descriptive method with survey technique. Data collection was taken by observation and semi structural interview that refer to observation sheet and interview guide. Data analyzed in descriptive qualitatively and SWOT to direction of development course. The result shows that Yoop Island have object potency and high sufficient tourism attraction, that is forest formation consisted of mangrove forest, coast forest, tropical forest of lower land and high land forest which characterized as follows: 35 kinds of headhunted plant potency, 29 kinds of spikes, 12 kinds of palm, three kinds of Nepenthes. Wildlife potency : six kinds of mammals, four kinds of reptile and 15 kinds of birds. In addition, has sea watery potency among others: 13 kinds of coral reef, four kinds of lamun, and 29 kinds of fishes. Neture phenomena among other coastal, caves, wells, water flows, water falls, gulfs, swamp, rise and fall of the tides, island, mountains, valleys and uncountable to shape stones of most high quality landscape. Traditional art and culture potency : balengan dance, Ri dance and many tradition rituals as ikuturnado, radio tourism and wisusarak. Promotion activity was not well performed and structured by the existing management institution. The management institution have not human resources, both adequate quality and quantity. The ecotourism marketing programe of Yoop Island was conducted after management makes well marketing mix strategy (product, price, place and promotion).
