Faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan kinerja P2TB-Paru Puskesmas di Kota Jambi

2006 | Tesis | S2 Ilmu Kesehatan Masyarakat (Kebij. dan Manaj. PeLatar belakang: Program P2 TB-Paru merupakan salah satu program prioritas di Dinas Kesehatan Kota Jambi. Hasil pelaksanaan program pada tahun 2004, angka penemuan suspek masih belum mencapai target yaitu 6,6/mil dari target nasional 122/mil. Keterbatasan pencapaian ini tidak terlepas dari peran petugas P2 TB-Paru puskesmas. Ada banyak hal yang dapat menyebabkan pencapaian penemuan penderita TB-Paru masih rendah, salah satunya adalah bagaimana kinerja petugas program P2 TB-Paru itu sendiri. Tujuan penelitian: untuk mengetahui kinerja petugas dalam melaksanakan program P2 TB-Paru di puskesmas dan faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan kinerja petugas program P2 TB-Paru puskesmas di Kota Jambi. Metode dan rancangan penelitian: adalah penelitian observasional dengan rancangan cross sectional (potong lintang). Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh petugas P2 TB-Paru puskesmas Kota Jambi dengan jumlah 40 orang dari 20 puskesmas. Variabel bebas penelitian adalah karakteristik, kemampuan, motivasi dan kesempatan, sedangkan variabel terikat adalah kinerja petugas P2 TB-Paru. Data primer dan sekunder, dikumpulkan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner, daftar tilik dan analisis dokumen di puskesmas dan dinas kesehatan. Tehnik analisis statistik yang digunakan adalah korelasi, untuk menguji hubungan antara variabelvariabel bebas dengan variabel terikat. Hasil penelitian: hasil analisis adalah faktor karakteristik pendidikan mempengaruhi kinerja petugas dalam penemuan suspek TB-Paru. Faktor kemampuan, motivasi dan kesempatan mempengaruhi kinerja petugas dalam konversi pengobatan TB-Paru. Faktor karakteristik golongan mempengaruhi kinerja petugas dalam penyembuhan pengobatan TBParu. Faktor motivasi mempengaruhi kinerja petugas dalam kegagalan pengobatan TB-Paru. Faktor motivasi mempengaruhi kinerja petugas dalam drop out pengobatan TB-Paru. Kesimpulan: faktor karakteristik, kemampuan, motivasi dan kesempatan mempengaruhi beberapa variabel kinerja petugas P2 TB-Paru.
Backgrounds: Program of pulmonary tuberculosis control is one of priority programs at Health Office of Jambi Municipality. The results of program inplementation in 2004 showed that number of suspect discoveries had not yet reached the target, i.e. 6.6/mile from national target of 122/mile. Low achievement may be affected by staff of pulmonary tuberculosis control at the center whose roles and main duties to discover pulmonary tuberculosis sufferers. There are many factors which may cause low achievement in the discovery and treatment of pulmonary tuberculosis sufferers, one of them is the performance of staff of lung tuberculosis control. Objective: To assess performance of staff in the implementation of pulmonary tuberculosis control program at the center and factors related to performance of staff of pulmonary tuberculosis control program at Community Health Center of Jambi Municipality. Method: This was an observational study with cross sectional design. The population of the study were all staff of pulmonary tuberculosis control at Community Health Centers of Jambi Municipality (as many as 40 people from 20 centers). Independent variables were characteristics, ability, motivation and opportunity, dependent variable was performance of staff of lung tuberculosis disease eradication. Primary and secondary data were obtained through questionnaires, check list and analysis of document in the centers and health office. Statistical analysis was regression technique to find out relationship between independent variables and dependent variables. Results: Education characteristic factors influenced the performance of staff to find out pulmonary tuberculosis suspect. Ability, motivation, and opportunity influenced the performance of the staff in the conversion of pulmonary tuberculosis treatment. Official rank characteristics influenced the performance of the staff in the recovery from pulmonary tuberculosis. Motivation influenced the performance of the staff in the failure of pulmonary tuberculosis treatment. Motivation influenced the performance of the staff in the drop out of pulmonary tuberculosis treatment. Conclusion: Characteristics, ability, motivation and opportunity influenced some variables of the staff performance of pulmonary tuberculosis disease eradication.
