Latar belakang: Kejang sebagai faktor prognosis stroke akut masih kontroversial. Beberapa penelitian prospektif maupun retrospektif menguatkan adanya hubungan yang positif, sedang penelitian lain tidak membuktikan adanya hubungan antara keduanya. Tujuan: Menentukan hubungan antara kejang dengan peningkatan perburukan defisit neurologis pada Stroke akut Manfaat: Dengan mengetahui apakah ada hubungan kejang sebagai faktor prognosis stroke akut diharapkan dapat menjawab kontroversi selama ini sehingga penatalaksanaan penderita stroke akut dengan kejang dapat lebih optimal . Subyek: Penderita stroke akut dengan kejang laki-laki dan perempuan Tempat: RSUP Dr. Sardjito, RSU Panti Rapih, RSU Bethesda dan RSU PKU Muhammadiyah, Yogyakarta.
