Analisis efisiensi usahatani Tembakau Jawa asapan di Desa Wonosari Kecamatan trucuk Kabupaten Klaten

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui; (1) faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi produksi, (2) efisiensi, (3) faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi tingkat efisiensi teknis, (4) factor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keuntungan dan (5) kelayakan usahatani Tembakau Jawa Asapan di Desa Wonosari. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode dasar deskriptif dan pengambilan sample dilakukan secara purposive. Sampel daerah dipilih Desa Wonosari didasarkan pada pertimbangan desa produksi terbesar dan asal mula pengembangan Tembakau Jawa Asapan di Kabupaten Klaten. Pengambilan sampel responden ditentukan dengan memilih 80 responden petani pengoven Tembakau Jawa Asapan berdasarkan informasi dari Kepala Desa, Sekretaris Desa, Ketua RW dan Ketua RT. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara dan pencatatan. Analisis data: untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi produksi, tingkat efisiensi teknis dan keuntungan digunakan analisis regresi linier berganda menggunakan program Shazam Professional Edition; untuk mengetahui tingkat efisiensi teknis digunakan fungsi produksi frontier; untuk mengetahui efisiensi alokatif dengan menghitung perbandingan antara produk marjinal dan harga input; untuk mengetahui kelayakan digunakan analisis R/C ratio. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa dengan peningkatan manajemen atau penemuan teknologi tertentu, penambahan luas lahan, racun dan tenaga kerja dapat meningkatkan produksi. Sedangkan penambahan pupuk dapat mengurangi produksi karena penggunaan pupuk tidak efisien. Secara teknis usahatani Tembakau Jawa Asapan sudah efisien, namun secara alokatif penggunaan input belum semuanya efisien, sehingga secara ekonomi belum efisien. Faktor umur dapat meningkatkan tingkat efisiensi teknis, sedangkan pendidikan dan jumlah tanggungan keluarga tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan. Faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap fungsi keuntungan adalah: harga lahan, harga pupuk dan saat tanam bulan Mei. Sedangkan harga bibit, harga kayu, harga tenaga kerja dan masa tanam bulan Agustus akan menurunkan keuntungan. Secara Umum usahatani Tembakau Jawa Asapan layak untuk diusahakan. Kenaikan atau keuntungan harga input atau harga output tidak sensitif terhadap kelayakan usahatani Tembakau Jawa Asapan di Desa Wonosari.

This study is purposed to determine; (1) factors that correlates to the production, (2) efficiency, (3) factors that correlates to the technical efficiency level, (4) factors that correlates to the profit and (5) farms feasibility of smoked Java Tobacco in Wonosari village. This study using basic descriptive method and purposive method for collecting the sample. The sample area chosen is Wonosari village based on consideration that it is the biggest production here and the origin of Smoked Java Tobacco cultivation in Klaten Regency. The collecting of sample to the respondents applied by choosing 80 respondents of backing farmer of Smoked Java Tobacco based on information from the village’s head, secretary, also RT and RW leaders. The collecting of the data applied by the observation, interview and noting. Data analysis: for determine factors that influence the production, technical efficiency level and profit, it uses multiple linear regression analysis with Shazam Professional Edition; to calculate the allocative efficiency, was done by measuring the ration between marginal product and input price; to determine the feasibility rate, it uses R/C Ration analysis. The analysis result show that the improvement of certain management and technology invention of land-holding, pesticide and labor, the production can increase and increase rate of fertilizer will decrease the production becaused uses fertilizer not efficient. Technically, the Smoked Java Tobacco farm’s was efficient, but the input usage is still not completely efficient in allocative, so economically, these still not efficient yet. The age factor can increase the technical efficiency rating, whereas education and endured family members are not significantly correlates. Factors that has positive and significant correlation to the profit function are: land price, fertilizer price and agricultural moment on May month. Whereas the seeds price, wood price, labor price and agricultural moment on August will decrease the profit. Generally, the Smoked Java Tobacco farm’s is feasible to practiced and increasing or decreasing input price or output price not sensitive to feasibility Smoked Java Tobacco Farms in Wonosari Village.
