Nilai hematologi dan konsumsi oksigen tikus putih (Rattus norvegicus L.) wistar yang terdedah asap rokok-berfilter dan tanpa filter

Asap rokok mengandung ribuan bahan berbahaya. Tujuan utama penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari asap rokok-berfilter dan tanpa filter terhadap konsumsi oksigen, kadar hemoglobin, persentase he matokrit dan kadar protein plasma tikus putih (Rattus norvegicus L.) strain Wistar. Lima belas ekor tikus putih jantan umur 2 bulan dengan berat 120-160 gram dibagi dalam 5 kelompok perlakuan : P1 (10 hari didedahkan asap rokok-berfilter), P2 (10 hari didedahkan asap rokok-tanpa filter), P3 (didedahkan asap rokok-berfilter selama 30 hari), P4 (didedahkan asap rokok-tanpa filter selama 30 hari) dan kelompok kontrol (tanpa didedahkan asap). Penelitian diteruskan tanpa pendedahan asap rokok selama 20 hari sebagai masa pemulihan. Sampel darah dan food intake diukur selama masa perlakuan dan masa pemulihan berlangsung. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan ANOVA dan dilanjutkan dengan uji Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT) dengan menggunakan program SAS (Statistical Analisys System). Penggunaan filter berpengaruh terhadap kadar CO, konsumsi oksigen, kadar Hb, hematokrit dan kadar protein darah. Pendedahan dengan asap rokok dengan atau tanpa filter dapat menurunkan konsumsi oksigen dan kadar protein plasma disamping meningkatkan kadar Hb dan hematokrit. Selama masa pemulihan, konsumsi oksigen, kadar protein darah, kadar Hb dan hematokrit akan kembali ke kadar normal.

Cigarette smoke contains thousands of harmful chemichals. The objectives of this research was to know the effect of smoke from filtered and non- filtered cigarette on oxygen consumption, hemoglobyne, hematocryt and blood protein level white rats (Rattus norvegicus L.) Wistar strain. Fifteen two months old male rats weighting 120-160 grams divided into five groups : P1 (10 days smoke exposure from filter cigarettes), P2 (10 days smoke exposure from non- filter cigarettes), P3 (exposed to filter cigarettes smoke for 30 days), P4 (exposed to non- filter cigarettes smoke for 30 days) and control group (without smoke exposure). The experiment was continued without exposure to smoke for 20 days for recovery. Blood samples and food intake were analyzed during treatment and recovery. The data were analysed by ANOVA and Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT) with Statistical Analisys System (SAS) programme. The use of filter affect CO level, oxygen consumption, Hb level, hematocryt and blood protein level. Exposure to cigarette smoke with or without filter may decreased oxygen consumption and blood proteins plasma beside increasing Hb level and hematocryt. During recovery period, oxygen consumption, blood protein, Hb and hematocryt level will regain to its normal level.
