Suatu riset tentang standar costing regional menjadi hal yang menarik akhir-akhir ini di tengah keraguan terhadap data edukasional. Costing merupakan suatu titik kunci untuk mengimplementasikan berbagai aturan edukasional, sehingga para pihak yang berkepentingan perlu informasi tersebut untuk membuat keputusan yang tepat. Dengan melakukan penelitian ini, peneliti akan membahas lima pendekatan umum untuk menghitung kos edukasi. Setiap pendekatan mempunyai asumsi, persyaratan data, serangkaian filosofi yang berbeda, namun tidak ada satu yang mendominasi yang lainnya. Pada tesis ini, peneliti akan menggunakan metode yang dipercaya tepat untuk menghitung kos edukasi. Setelah pemilihan pendekatan tersebut, peneliti akan menggunakannya untuk menghitung kos edukasi per siswa di Kabupaten Konawe. Selanjutnya, formula kos edukasi bisa ditentukan sebagai kelanjutannya dengan harapan dapat mengatasi permasalahan yang dihadapi yaitu kesulitan akurasi pemenuhan dana edukasional di Pemda Kabupaten Konawe

Nowadays research of Regional Standard Costing has just become one of interesting topic to be discussed on the doubts of educational data. Costing had become a key point for implementation of certain rules of educations; therefore the interests of the parties involved needed this information to make the right decision. Conducting this research, meaning there are five common approaches to calculate educational costs. Every approach has a condition of assumption data, different tied of philosophy, but none of them dominate others. This thesis is using a method that believed as the accurate one to conduct calculation of education costs. After chosen the approaches, the next step is to calculate education cost per student in Konawe District. Then afterwards the educational cost formula can be determined as the continuations of hope that this formula would be able to overcome the problem exist, which is to fulfill the accurate educational funding in Local Government of Konawe District.
