Restorasi resin komposit nanofil pasca Bleaching Vital pada Hipoplasia email gigi anterior maksila dan mandibula

2006 | Tesis | PPDGS I Konservasi GigiLaporan kasus ini bertujuan untuk menginformasikan hasil perawatan gigi-gigi anterior maksila dan mandibula yang mengalami hipoplasia email kecuali gigi-gigi insisivus lateralis maksila kanan dan kiri, yang dilakukan perawatan restorasi resin komposit nanofil pasca bleaching vital. Pasien pria, 22 tahun, 10 gigi anterior maksila dan mandibula mengalami hipoplasia email disertai diskolorasi dengan warna kuning kecoklat-coklatan. Perawatan diawali dengan pembersihan seluruh permukaan email dengan pumice dan air dilanjutkan perawatan bleaching vital dengan teknik termokatalitik menggunakan bahan hidrogen peroksida 35 %. Bleaching vital dilakukan dua kali sudah mendekati titik jenuh walaupun diskolorasi belum hilang tuntas, dilanjutkan perawatan restorasi resin komposit nanofil. Warna ditetapkan mendekati warna insisivus lateralis maksila kanan dan kiri (A2 Vita). Prosedur perawatan pada masing-masing gigi dimulai dengan pembuangan jaringan yang cacat secukupnya, pembentukan kavitas dan pembuatan bevel. Aplikasi resin komposit nanofil diawali dengan etching dan bonding, kemudian insersi resin komposit nanofil lapis demi lapis dengan teknik two-shade dan multi-shade, dilanjutkan finishing dan polishing. Kontrol dua bulan pasca perawatan gigi-gigi anterior maksila dan mandibula menunjukkan fungsi gigi normal, terutama hasil estetika memuaskan dengan warna A2 Vita
The purpose of this case report was to inform the treatment result of upper and lower anterior teeth suffered from enamel hypoplasia except upper lateral left and right incisors, which were treated with nanofiller composite resin restoration after vital bleaching. A 22 year-old male patient suffered from enamel hypoplasia of his 10 upper and lower anterior teeth which developed discoloration to brownish yellow. The treatment was begun with cleaning of the enamel surfaces with pumice and water. Vital bleaching with thermocatalytic technique involved application of 35 % hydrogen peroxide and heat was carried out twice. It was decided that the discoloration was not amenable to bleaching and should be corrected by restorative means using nanofiller composite resin. Approaching the upper lateral incisor color, restorative procedure was initiated with removal of defective enamel and preparation of cavity and bevel. After etching and bonding, the nanofiller composite resin was applied layer by layer with two-shade and multi-shade technique followed by finishing and polishing. The evaluation was conducted two months after treatment showed normal functions and satisfactory esthetic result with the A2 Vita colour.
