Laporan kasus ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil perawatan restorasi mahkota jaket porselen fusi metal dengan pasak parallel serrated-tapered head-long pada gigi insisivus sentralis kanan maksila karies kompleks dengan pulpitis ireversibel. Pasien pria 30 tahun, datang ke klinik konservasi Gigi FKG UGM ingin merawat gigi depan atas yang struktur mahkotanya telah rusak dan sering terasa sakit spontan. Berdasarkan pemeriksaan subjektif, objektif, dan radiografis diperoleh diagnosis gigi insisivus sentralis kanan maksila karies kompleks dengan pulpitis ireversibel. Perawatan diawali dengan pulpektomi vital satu kunjungan, pada kunjungan berikutnya dilanjutkan dengan pemasangan pasak parallel serrated-tapered head-long, restorasi kavitas, pembentukan inti resin komposit. preparasi tonggak, pencetakan dan pemasangam mahkota gigi sementara. Kunjungan selanjutnya dilakukan pengepasan dan sementasi mahkota jaket porselen fusi metal. Hasil evaluasi setelah satu minggu pasca perawatan, gigi insisivus sentralis kanan maksila tidak menunjukkan adanya kondisi traumatik, perkusi dan palpasi tidak ada keluhan sakit, warna gingiva normal, dan warna mahkota jaket gigi 11 serasi dengan warna gigi yang lain

The purpose of this case report was to know the result of porcelain fused to metal jacket crown restoration with parallel serrated-tapered head-long post on maxillary right central incisor. A 30 years old male came to the Conservative Dentistry Clinic Gadjah Mada University required treatment of his anterior tooth which was broken down and painful. According to subjective, objective and radiograph examination, the diagnosis was complex caries lesion with irreversible pulpitis. The treatment was initiated with one visit vital pulpectomy. On the following visit, parallel serrated-tapered head-long post placement, cavity restoration, core build up, impression taking and placement of temporary crown were conducted respectively. Final treatment was the fitting and cementation of porcelain fused to metal jacket crown. The results of evaluation on recall visit one weeks after treatment showed no traumatic condition, no response on percussion and palpation, normal gingival color, and the color of the jacket crown of the subjected tooth was similar to the adjacent teeth.
