Labial veneering porselen pada lima gigi anterior maksila yang mengalami hipoplasia email

Tujuan laporan kasus ini untuk menginformasikan hasil perawatan labial veneering porselen pada lima gigi anterior maksila yang mengalami hipoplasia email. Seorang pasien laki-laki, umur 44 th datang ke Klinik Konservasi Gigi Fakultas Kedokteran Gigi Universitas Gadjah Mada, untuk memperbaiki lima gigi anterior maksila yang mengalami hipoplasia email disertai perubahan warna. Gigi-gigi tersebut pernah dilakukan perawatan labial veneering resin komposit. Pada pemeriksaan objektif pasien mempunyai kebiasaan merokok, tumpatan sebagian besar telah pecah karena abrasi, dan pada permukaan gigi terdapat perubahan warna kuning kecoklatan. Rencana perawatan adalah restorasi labial veneering porselen. Kunjungan pertama dilakukan preparasi permukaan labial gigi dengan laminated veneer system set, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan pencetakan, pemilihan warna dan pengiriman ke laboratorium gigi. Pada kunjungan kedua dilakukan pengepasan dan sementasi labial veneer porselen. Hasil evaluasi pada kunjungan ketiga untuk kontrol, tidak ada prematur kontak. Pemeriksaan perkusi tidak ada rasa sakit, palpasi gingival normal dan fungsi estetik baik sehingga memberikan hasil yang memuaskan.

The purpose of this case report was to inform the treatment outcome of porcelain labial veneering on five maxillary anterior teeth which suffered enamel hypoplasia. A 44 year-old male patient visited Conservative Dental Clinic, Gadjah Mada University seeking a treatment of his maxillary anterior teeth which enamel hypoplasia with suffered discoloration. The teeth had been treated with composite resin labial veneering. The detached due to abrasion and there was brownish yellow discoloration on the teeth surface. The treatment plan was porcelain labial veneering restoration. At the first visit, preparation of labial surface with laminated veneer system set was conducted, followed by impression taking, shade selection and sending the work model to the dental laboratory. At the second visit, the treatment procedure was continued with porcelain labial veneer fitting and cementation. On the recall visit, there was no premature contact. In addition, no pain sensation on percussion and palpation, and good esthetic function so that give the satisfying result.
