Kajian pengaruh industri genteng terhadap perubahan fisik dan sosial ekonomi di Kecamatan Godean Kabupaten Sleman

Lokasi penelitian ini adalah wilayah Kecamatan Godean Kabupaten Sleman. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pengusaha industri genteng yang ada di Kecamatan Godean yang sampai saat penelitian berjumlah 1403 orang. Dengan menggunakan metode random sample, dari populasi tersebut ditetapkan 50 orang sebagai responden. Penelitian ini menggunakan metoda deskriptif kualitatif. Untuk menganalisis data dan informasi, digunakan teknik tabel frekuensi yang dilengkapi oleh keterangan dari beberapa nara sumber Disamping itu juga dilengkapi dengan overlay terhadap peta-peta tematik dalam periode 20 tahun. Dalam penelitian ini terdapat satu variabel bebas yaitu industri genteng dan dua variabel terikat yaitu perubahan fisik dan perubahan sosial ekonomi. Dari analisis terhadap variabel bebas dapat diketahui bahwa pola industri genteng di Kecamatan Godean didukung oleh lokasi yang strategis, ketersediaan sumber bahan baku, tenaga kerja dan modal yang cukup serta produktifitas yang semakin meningkat. Analisis pengaruh industri genteng terhadap perubahan fisik menunjukkan bahwa secara makro industri genteng di Kecamatan Godean belum berpengaruh banyak terhadap perubahan fisik lingkungan disekitarnya terutama terhadap perubahan penggunaan lahan. Perubahan yang terjadi umumnya merupakan pengaruh dari program pembangunan yang ada serta akibat perkembangan ekonomi global. Sedangkan analisis pengaruh industri genteng terhadap perubahan sosial ekonomi menunjukkan adanya pengaruh positif industri genteng terhadap perubahan sosial ekonomi masyarakat disekitarnya. Dalam aspek sosial, industri genteng telah berpengaruh terhadap struktur sosial, hubungan sosial dan kelembagaan sosial di Kecamatan Godean. Kontribusi industri genteng dalam aspek ekonomi dapat dilihat dari keberadaan industri genteng sebagai mata pencaharian alternatif untuk memperoleh tambahan pendapatan disamping pendapatan pokok dari sektor pertanian.

The location of this research is an area in sub district of Godean of Sleman Regency. Population of the research is the entire enterprises of the roof-tile industries in Godean that, till the research is conducted amount 1403. From the population, by using random sample method, 50 enterprises are determined to be respondent. The research uses the descriptive-qualitative method and in analyzing the data and information, applies technique of the frequency table completed by overlay to the thematic maps for period 20 years. In the research, there is an independent variable, i.e. the roof-tile industries and two dependent variables, i.e. the physical and socio-economic changes. From the analysis of the independent variable, it can be known that the strategic location, availability of row materials, the sufficient labor and capitals and the increasing productivity support the pattern of the roof-tile industries in Godean. The analysis of influence of the roof-tile industries to the physical changes shows that, at the macro level, those industries in Godean do not influence the physical changes of surroundings so much yet, especially in the change of land management. Generally, the current changes are the effect of development programs and the result of global econo mic developments. Meanwhile, the analysis of the roof-tile industries to the socio-economic changes indicated that there are the positive effect of those industries on the socioeconomic change of surrounding societies. In social aspects, those roof-tile industries influence the social structure, the social relationship and the social institutionalization in the sub district of Godean. The contribution of those industries in the economic aspect can be seen from the existence of those industries as the alternative means of livelihood to obtain the extra income besides the principal one from the agricultural sectors.
