Kesehatan sangat penting artinya bagi masyarakat karena usaha apapun yang dilakukan pemerintah baik di bidang ekonomi, pendidikan dan sebagainya akan sulit berhasil apabila masyarakatnya dalam kondisi tidak sehat. Propinsi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta masih memerlukan adanya fasilitas kesehatan yang memadai yang akan memberikan pelayanan kesehatan maupun upaya pencegahan penyakit secara terintegrasi kepada masyarakat, dimana bentuk layanan kesehatan tersebut berupa Layanan Kesehatan Medis. Dalam penelitian ini akan dibahas tentang perkembangan penyakit yang semakin kompleks di masyarakat khususnya di Propinsi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta sehingga perlu adanya pengkhususan dalam penanganannya (spesialisasi) baik dari Rumah Sakit itu sendiri maupun dokternya juga kecenderungannya dalam memilih kelas -kelas kamar tertentu untuk merawat penyakit yang dideritanya. Metode Kuantitatif akan mengukur mengenai Prospek Industri Layanan Kesehatan secara medis dimana analisis ini merupakan salah satu cara untuk melakukan peramalan atau forecast. Metode ini mencoba menghubungkan adanya prospek industri layanan kesehatan secara medis yang dibutuhkan pada masa yang akan datang antara jenis pelayanan terbanyak untuk jenis penyakit dengan kebutuhan kelas kamar yang dimina ti masyarakat berkaitan dengan kesadaran tentang kesehatannya. Analisa industri yang akan digunakan adalah melakukan proyeksi terhadap permintaan industri layanan kesehatan untuk mengetahui kemungkinan perkembangan industri tersebut di masa yang akan data ng dengan Model Time Series dan menentukan posisi proyek dalam industri sejenis dan membuat kemungkinan penjualan kelas kamar ditahun-tahun mendatang. Metode yang digunakan dalam analisis ini adalah analisis Time Series dengan teknik Trend Linear dimana manfaatnya adalah melihat kecenderungan apakah garis trend bergerak naik atau turun, apabila data yang ada menunjukkan kenaikan maka Trend tersebut Trend Positif sedangkan bila menunjukkan penurunan maka Trend tersebut menunjukkan Trend Negatif. Kesimpulan yang dapat diambil terkait dengan prospek industi layanan kesehatan medis berkelas di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta adalah jenis layanan Penyakit Dalam kemudian layanan Kesehatan Anak mendominasi jumlah banyaknya pasien diobati pada jenis layanan terbatas dan penggunaan rincian hari perawatan pada kelas I dan Utama

Province of Special Region Yogyakarta still need the existence of adequate health facility to give the service of health and also effort of disease prevention integrated to society, where the health service form in the form of Medical Health Service. In this research will be studied about disease growth which complex progressively in society specially Province of Special Region Yogyakarta so that need the existence of peculiarity in its handling (specially) either from itself Hospital and also its doctor also its tendency in chosen certain room ;chamber class to take care of the disease suffered. Quantitative Method will measure regarding the Industrial Prospect of Health Service medically where this analysis represent one of the way of to conduct the forecast. This method try to connect the existence of industrial prospect of health service medically required a period of come between service type of many for the type of disease with the requirement of room ;chamber class enthused by the society relate to the awareness about its health. Industria l analysis to be used is conduct the projection to industrial request of health service to know the industrial growth possibility in the future with the Model of Time Series and determine the position is project in industry of a kind and make the possibility of years room ;chamber class sale come. Method used in this analysis is analysis of Time Series with the technique of Trend Linear where its benefit seeing tendency of what line trend make a move to go up or go down, if existing data show the increase hence the Trend Positive Trend while showing degradation hence the Trend show the Negative Trend.
