Implementasi teknologi Flash Remoting untuk Entry Data KRS berbasis Three Tiers

Teknologi middleware telah menjadi issu yang menarik dikalangan pengembang aplikasi berbasis web dewasa ini, diawali munculnya teknologi DCOM (Distributed COM) yang kemudian diikuti teknologi RMI (Remote Method Invocation) serta RPC (Remote Procedure Call). Demikian pula teknologi Flash Remoting. Flash Remoting merupakan teknologi yang memungkinkan aplikasi dalam bentuk Flash Movie pada client memanggil aplikasi server-side secara remote berikut parameternya. Flash Remoting terdiri atas komponen-komponen yang saling terkait dan mendukung yaitu Flash Player, Flash Remoting Component dan Flash Remoting Gateway. Kemudahan akses remote yang disediakan oleh Flash Remoting ini menjadi pilihan untuk diimplementasikan kedalam aplikasi entry data KRS Online pada Mahasiswa Jurusan Teknologi Informatika Universitas Teknologi Yogyakarta yang dapat diakses melalui jaringan LAN dan Internet untuk meminimalisasi masalah jarak dan antrian di setiap awal semester.

Middleware technology has became interest issue among the web based application developer currently, begin with emerge of DCOM technology (Distributed COM), which is followed by RMI technology (Remote Method Invocation) RPC (Remote Procedure Call) as well and Flash Remoting is too. Flash Remoting is a technology which is enable application in the form of Flash Movie for client to call server-side application remote including the their parameter. Flash Remoting consist of components which connecting and support to each other namely Flash Player, Flash Remoting and Flash Remoting Gateway. The easy accessable remote which is provide by Flash Remoting has became a choice to be implemented into KRS Entry data application at informatics technology student, Yogyakarta Technology University that can be access through LAN Network and Internet for minimalizing the distance and the length of queque of the beginning of each semester.
