Hubungan motivasi kerja dan nilai kerja dengan komitmen kerja penelitian Balai Besar Penelitian dan Pengembangan Pelayanan Kesejahteraan Sosial (B2P3KS) Yogyakarta

Pejabat fungsional peneliti di lingkungan Balai Besar Penelitian dan Pengembangan Pelayanan Kesejahteraan Sosial (B2P3KS) Yogyakarta, sebanyak 58 peneliti menjadi subyek dalam penelitian mengenai hubungan motivasi kerja dan nilai kerja dengan komitmen kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji seberapa besar hubungan antara motivasi kerja dan nilai kerja dengan komitmen kerja dan untuk mendapatkan seberapa besar peran motivasi kerja dan nilai kerja pada komitmen kerja peneliti B2P3KS Yogyakarta. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan metode survei. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah Skala Komitmen Kerja, Skala Motivasi kerja, dan Skala Nilai Kerja. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan Analisis Regresi dengan bantuan program komputer SPS versi 2000 edisi Sutrisno Hadi. Hasil uji analisis regresi ganda menunjukkan ada hubungan yang sangat signifikan antara motivasi kerja dan nilai kerja dengan komitmen kerja, di mana R=0.864, F=80.759 dan p=0.000, sedangkan sumbangan efektif dari kedua variabel bebas terhadap variabel terikat sebesar 74.598%. Hasil uji analisis regresi simultan menunjukkan bahwa faktor motivasi intrinsik dan ekstrinsik berhubungan dengan faktor kepercayaan dan penerimaan nilai dan tujuan organisasi, dengan sumbangan masing-masing sebesar 54.288% dan 8.117%. Faktor motivasi intrinsik berhubungan dengan faktor keinginan bekerja keras dan loyalitas, memberi sumbangan sebesar 61.044% dan 5.725%. Faktor nilai intrinsk berhubungan dengan faktor kepercayaan dan penerimaan nilai dan tujuan organisasi, sumbangannya sebesar 3.125%. Faktor nilai ekstrinsik dan concomitant berhubungan dengan faktor keinginan bekerja keras dan faktor loyalitas. Sumbangan faktor nilai ektrinsik dan faktor nilai concomitant terhadap faktor keinginan bekerja keras masing-masing sebesar 7.629% dan 2.783%, sedang sumbangan terhadap faktor loyalitas masingmasing sebesar 1.702% dan 64.943%.

There were 58 researchers at the Institution for Social Welfare Service Research and Development who became the subjects in this study on the relationship between motivation to work, work value and commitment to work. This study aimed at revealing the extent to which the relationship between motivation to work, work value and commitment to work, and also to find out how significant the role of motivation to work and work value towards commitment to work as shown by researchers at B2P3KS Yogyakarta. Data for the study were obtained through surveys. The measuring tools employed in this study were Commitment to Work Scale, Motivation to Work Scale, and Work Value Scale. Data then were analyzed using Regression Analysis, with the help of SPS version 2000 computer software Sutrisno Hadi edition. The results of double regression analysis showed that there was a very significant relationship between motivation to work, work value and commitment to work, in which R=0.864, F=80.759 and p=0.000. Meanwhile, the effective contribution of both independent variables to the dependent variable was 74.598%. The results of simultaneous regression analysis indicated that intrinsic and extrinsic motivation factors were closely linked to factors such as trust, values and organizational goals acceptance, in which each factor contributed 54.288% and 8.117%. Intrinsic motivation factors, including the drive to work hard and loyalty, contributed 61.044% and 5.725%. Intrinsic value factor, including trust and values and organizational goals acceptance, contributed 3.125%. Extrinsic value factor and concomitant were related to the drive to work hard and loyalty factors. Extrinsic value factor and concomitant value factor contributed 7.629% and 2.783% to the drive to work hard factor, while their contribution to loyalty factor were 1.702% and 64.943%.
