Hubungan minat profesi pendeta dan konsep diri dengan prestasi akademik mahasiswa Sekolah Tinggi Theologia HKBP Pematang Siantar

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan membuktikan hubungan minat profesi pendeta dan konsep diri dengan prestasi akademik mahasiswa Sekolah Tinggi Theologia HKBP Pematang Siantar. Hipotesis yang diajukan adalah (1) Ada hubungan minat profesi pendeta dan konsep diri dengan prestasi akademik; (2) Ada hubungan minat profesi pendeta dengan prestasi akademik; (3) Ada hubungan konsep diri dengan prestasi akademik. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 54 orang mahasiswa STT-HKBP tahun akademik 2003/2004. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan angket minat profesi pendeta dan konsep diri, dan studi dokumentasi. Metode statistik yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi ganda dan analisis parsial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan yang sangat signifikan minat profesi pendeta dan konsep diri dengan prestasi akademik (F = 14,627; R = 0,604 dan R2 = 0,365 p<0,01); Ada hubungan yang signifikan minat profesi pendeta dengan prestasi akademik pada mahasiswa (r = 0,331, dan p<0,05); Ada hubungan yang sangat signifikan konsep diri dengan prestasi akademik mahasiswa (r = 0,358; dan p< 0,01).

The aim of this research was to find out and prove the relationship interest in the priest and self concept with academic achievement students of HKBP Theological Seminary Pematang Siantar. The hypotheses were (1) There was relationship interest in the priest and self concept with academic achievement of students in the theological seminary; (2) There was relationship interest in the priest with academic achievement of students in the theological seminary; (3) There was relationship self concept with academic achievement of students in the theological seminary. The total amount of this research subjects were 54 students of HKBP Theological Seminary Pematang Siantar in academic year 2003/2004. Data were collected using questionnaires for interest in the priest profession and self concept and documentary study. Statistical methods which were used in this research were multiple regression analysis and partial analysis. The result of this research showed that there was a very significant relationship interest in the priest and self concept with academic achievement of students in the theological seminary at STT-HKBP P. Siantar (F = 14,627; R = 0,604; R2 = 0,365 p< 0.01); There was a significant relationship interest in the priest with academic achievement of students (r = 0,331, and p<0.05); there was a very significant relationship self concept with academic achievement of students in the theological seminary. (r = 0,358 and p< 0.01).
