Hubungan antara persepsi terhadap pola asuh demokratis ayah dan ibu dengan perilaku disiplin remaja

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara persepsi remaja terhadap pola asuh demokratis ayah dan ibu dengan perilaku disiplin remaja. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa-siswi kelas satu dan dua SMP Nasima Semarang. Keseluruhan subjek yang terlibat berjumlah 133 remaja awal (70 laki- laki dan 63 perempuan), berusia 12 – 15 tahun. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah skala persepsi remaja ter hadap pola asuh demokratis ayah, skala persepsi remaja terhadap pola asuh demokratis ibu, dan skala perilaku disiplin remaja. Ketiga skala ini menggunakan model skala Likert yang terdiri dari empat alternatif pilihan jawaban. Analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik analisis regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) terdapat hubungan yang sangat signifikan antara persepsi remaja terhadap pola asuh demokratis ayah dan ibu dengan perilaku disiplin remaja, ditunjukkan dengan Rx1.2y = 0,522, p = 0,000 (p < 0,01), dan sumbangan efektif 27,3% ; 2) terdapat hubungan positif dan sangat signifikan antara persepsi remaja terhadap pola asuh demokratis ayah dengan perilaku disiplin remaja, ditunjukkan dengan Rx1y = 0,515, p = 0,000 (p < 0,01), dan sumbangan efektif 26,5% ; 3) terdapat hubungan positif dan sangat signifikan antara persepsi remaja terhadap pola asuh demokratis ibu dengan perilaku disiplin remaja, ditunjukkan dengan Rx2y = 0,415, p = 0,000 (p < 0,01), dan sumbangan efektif 17,2%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis dalam penelitian ini diterima.

This research is aimed to define the relationship between perception to democratization of the father and mother parenting style with adolescence’s discipline behaviour. The research subjects are pupils of adolescence. The whole subject are 133 early adolescence (70 boys and 63 girls), age 12 – 15 years. The method to date collecting that used is the scale of adolescence’s perception to democratization of the father parenting style, the scale of adolescence’s perception to democratization of the mother parenting style , and the scale of adolescence’s discipline behaviour. All of the scales used Likert Scale Model consist of four alternative responses. The data analysis is done by regression analysis technique. The result of the research indicated that : 1) there is a too significant and positive correlation between adolescence’s perception to democratization of the farher and mother parenting style with adolescence’s discipline behaviour, showed that Rx1.2y = 0,522, p = 0,000 (p < 0,01), and effective contribution 27,3% ; 2) there is a too significant and positive correlation between adolescence’s perception to democratization of the father parenting style with adolescence’s discipline behaviour, showed that Rx1y = 0,515, p = 0,000 (p < 0,01), and effective contribution = 26,5% ; 3) there is a too significant and positive correlation between adolescence’s perception to democratization of the mother parenting style with adolescence’s discipline behaviour, showed that Rx2y = 0,415, p = 0,000 (p < 0,01), and effective contribution = 17,2%. The conclusion of this research that the hypothesis is accepted.
