Climate change has led to seasonal shifts and extreme weather events that negatively impact rice growth. These challenges can be mitigated by utilizing drought- and submergence-tolerant rice varieties. Furthermore, the innovative application of organic and inorganic fertilizers supports yield through essential nutrient supply. This study aimed to determine the effects of urea organomineral fertilizer application on the growth and yield of Gamagora rice (Oryza sativa L.). The research was conducted at the Agrotechnology Innovation Center (PIAT), Universitas Gadjah Mada, located in Kalitirto, Berbah, Sleman, Yogyakarta, from November 2022 to April 2023. The study employed a Split-Plot Design consisting of two factors. The main plot factor consisted of four rice varieties: Inpari 42 (V0), Gamagora 2 (V1), Gamagora 4 (V2), and Gamagora 7 (V3). The sub-plot factor comprised four fertilizer dosage levels: 0 kg/ha (P0), 150 kg/ha (P1), 300 kg/ha (P2), and 450 kg/ha (P3). The results showed that there was no significant interaction between the two factors. The single factor of organomineral urea fertilizer dosage significantly influenced plant height, tiller number, total dry weight, and productivity. An organomineral urea fertilizer dosage of 300 kg/ha demonstrated the most optimal rice growth, as it produced the best reproductive yield components, with the highest average tiller number (9.65 tillers) and maximum plant dry weight (31.44 g). Fertilizer application above the 300 kg/ha was considered inefficient because the increase in vegetative parameters tended to plateau, and the main yield components decreased due to nutrient saturation.
