Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat partisipasi masyarakat tergolong tinggi, yaitu sebesar 78,38%, dengan seluruh jenis partisipasi juga berada pada kategori tinggi. Model penelitian mampu menjelaskan 61,6% variasi partisipasi masyarakat (R² = 0,616). Faktor internal tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap partisipasi masyarakat (koefisien jalur = 0,030;
t-statistic = 0,235;
p-value = 0,815), sedangkan faktor eksternal berpengaruh positif dan signifikan (koefisien jalur = 0,776;
t-statistic = 10,061;
p-value < 0>
Kali Talang Ecotourism in Balerante Village, Kemalang District, Klaten Regency is a nature-based tourism destination that has been managed by the local community since 2017. The success of its management depends on active community participation, which is presumed to be influenced by internal factors (age, education level, income level, length of membership, and desire to group) and external factors (support from the managing group, village government, facilities and infrastructure, as well as the private sector and universities). This study aims to analyze the level of community participation and the influence of internal and external factors on community participation in the management of Kali Talang Ecotourism.
This study used a quantitative descriptive method with a total sampling technique involving 30 managers as respondents. Data were collected through a closed questionnaire using a Likert scale and analyzed descriptively to measure the level of participation in decision-making, implementation, utilization of results, and evaluation. The influence of internal and external factors was analyzed using Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with the aid of SmartPLS 4.0.
The results showed that the level of community participation was classified as high, at 78.38%, with all types of participation also falling into the high category. The research model was able to explain 61.6% of the variation in community participation (R² = 0.616). Internal factors had no significant effect on community participation (path coefficient = 0.030; t-statistic = 0.235; p-value = 0.815), whereas external factors had a positive and significant effect (path coefficient = 0.776; t-statistic = 10.061; p-value < 0>
