Shallot is one of the leading horticultural commodities in Indonesia, with high economic value and widespread demand as a food ingredient. Semiorganic shallot farming in Selopamioro Village combines organic and inorganic inputs, so farmers need to determine the use of production factors appropriately. The use of production factors varies among farmers, yet the amount of input used does not reveal which factors significantly affect production. This condition indicates that the allocation of production factors needs further study so that production and farm profit can be optimized. This study aimed to (1) analyze the level of production and productivity of semiorganic shallot farming in Selopamioro Village; (2) identify the factors affecting semiorganic shallot production in Selopamioro Village; (3) assess the allocative efficiency of production factor use in semiorganic shallot farming in Selopamioro Village. The basic method used was a descriptive-analytical method with 50 samples selected through purposive sampling in two hamlets, namely 25 farmers in Nawungan I Hamlet and 25 farmers in Nawungan II Hamlet. The factors affecting shallot production were analyzed using a multiple linear regression model with the Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) method based on the Cobb-Douglas production function. Allocative efficiency was analyzed using the allocative efficiency index. The results showed that average production was 1.58 tons per farm per planting season, with average productivity of 8.46 tons/ha. The only factor with a significant positive effect on shallot production in Selopamioro Village was the amount of seed. Seed use was not yet allocatively efficient, so its use could still be increased proportionally.
