Adolescence is a critical period in the formation of self-identity, accompanied by various physical, cognitive, social, and emotional changes. At the same time, adolescents also enter a period of “storm and stress” that impacts their psychological well-being. Therefore, interventions are needed to help adolescents optimally develop their psychological well-being. This study aims to validate the “Berdaya” training module, based on the PERMA model, to improve the psychological well-being of high school adolescents. The content validity results indicate satisfactory validity, with an Aiken’s V coefficient score of 0.85. Functional validation was conducted through a pilot test and an effectiveness test. The pilot test showed that the module had excellent feasibility. Furthermore, the effectiveness test used a quasi-experimental method involving 24 high school students divided into an experimental group (n = 12) and a control group (n = 12). Mixed-Design ANOVA revealed a statistically significant time times and group interaction effect, with post-hoc analysis confirming a significant score increase in the experimental group post-intervention that persisted through the follow-up measurement, whereas the control group remained stagnant. This study indicates that the "Berdaya" training program has the potential to support the enhancement of psychological well-being in high school adolescents. This improvement was driven by a shift in participants' perceptions of the PERMA elements during the intensive training, suggesting that this module can be considered an alternative group intervention program in school settings.
