Ancaman krisis lingkungan
global, seperti perubahan iklim, hilangnya keanekaragaman hayati, dan
peningkatan polusi udara, kian memburuk seiring bertambahnya populasi dan
aktivitas pemanfaatan sumber daya alam. Kondisi ini berisiko menggagalkan
Pencapaian Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (SDG) ke-13. Kawasan Perkotaan Yogyakarta
digunakan yaitu
emisi PM2,5 dan perancangan skenario reduksi;
teknik kolokasi untuk komparasi instrumen;
Cost Sensor (LCS) berbasis IoT (Internet of Things) sebagai
baik musim maupun jenis hari. Model prediksi terbaik menggunakan Hybrid LUR+ ML
dengan algoritma XGB untuk bulan
kering (R² 0.89; RMSE: 3,11), LightGBM di bulan transisi (R² 0.92; RMSE: 4,14), Random Forest untuk bulan basah (R² 0.92; RMSE: 3,57),
CatBoost untuk hari kerja (R² 0.93; RMSE: 3,11), dan
CatBoost untuk hari libur (R² 0.94; RMSE: 3,11). Model
pengukuran dengan Low-Cost Sensor (LCS) berbasis Interet of Things
(IoT), penataan pada sektor transportasi menjadi prioritas utama, diikuti penataan
pada RTH dan pengelolaan sampah.
The threat of a
global environmental crisis, such as climate change, loss of biodiversity, and
increased air pollution, is worsening as the population grows and the
exploitation of natural resources intensifies. This condition risks
jeopardizing the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 13. The
urban area of Yogyakarta faces challenges such as limited measuring instruments
and a lack of ambient PM2,5 concentration data, even though
the triggering factors are very complex and could pose a serious threat in the
future if not managed properly. Therefore, this research aims to analyze the
variation and correlation of ambient PM2,5 concentration with predictor
variables, design spatial and temporal prediction models, and formulate
strategic steps for monitoring and management.
The methods used
include descriptive statistics for correlation analysis between variables;
correlation to determine the influence between target variables and predictor
variables; Land Use Regression (LUR), Machine Learning, and Hybrid LUR Machine
Learning integrated with GIS for spatial prediction of ambient PM2,5 ; dynamic systems for temporal prediction of PM2,5 consentration and reduction scenario
design; collocation techniques for instrument comparison; model performance
evaluation using R², RMSE, MSE, and MAE; the design and development of Low Cost
Sensors (LCS) based on IoT (Internet of Things) as an alternative monitoring
tool; and in-depth analysis for monitoring and managing ambient PM2,5 concentration strategies in the
Urban Area of Yogyakarta.
The research results
demonstrate that the concentration of ambient PM2,5 consentrations in the Urban Area of Yogyakarta fluctuates in intensity.
The most elevated quantities were detected in regions with significant human
activity, particularly during daylight hours in the transitional season. The
relationship between predictor variables such climatic factors, vehicle count,
land use classifications, and population density and ambient PM2,5 levels in Yogyakarta's urban environment fluctuates based on temporal
conditions, whether seasonal or daily. The optimal predictive model employs
Hybrid LUR+ ML utilising the XGB algorithm during arid months (R² 0.89; RMSE:
3.11), LightGBM in transitional months (R² 0.92; RMSE: 4.14), Random Forest for
humid months (R² 0.92; RMSE: 3.57), CatBoost for weekdays (R² 0.93; RMSE:
3.11), and CatBoost for holidays (R² 0.94; RMSE: 3.11). The temporal
forecasting model for ambient PM2,5 concentration via a
dynamic system reveals an escalation in emission levels from 2020 to 2030,
requiring mitigation strategies to lower particle concentrations. Strategic
alleviation via the oversight and administration of measurements utilising Low-Cost
Sensors (LCS) grounded on the Internet of Things (IoT), emphasising
the transportation industry, succeeded by the organization of green open
areas and waste disposal.
