Banyumulek Tourism Village in West Lombok Regency is a pottery craft hub reliant on a single primary product, making it vulnerable to external shocks and subject to a visitor pattern that typically ends with shopping transactions. Simultaneously, the village possesses an undeveloped religious site the Tomb of Papuq Mulek, dedicated to a figure believed to be both the pioneer of the local pottery tradition and a propagator of Islam. This study aims to analyze the site's potential as a religious tourism attraction linked to the pottery craft and to formulate development strategies to diversify tourism products. The research employs a qualitative, exploratory-descriptive approach utilizing non-participant observation, in-depth interviews with purposively selected informants, and document analysis; validity was ensured through data, method, and time triangulation.

The findings indicate that the Tomb of Papuq Mulek site has the potential for development as a religious tourism attraction based on an assessment against five components of religious site theory, yet its connection to the pottery craft remains fragmentary and constitutes merely parallel diversification. Based on these findings, the study formulates a Heritage-Based Religion-Pottery Integration Strategy Framework that links the two products within a single visitor itinerary through historical connections.

The study concludes that successful integrative diversification relies not merely on spatial proximity but requires authentic historical linkages; thus, diversification is positioned as a form of heritage activation designed to strengthen identity and reduce the destination's vulnerability.
